I know we're that far into the two thousands but it still sounds funny. But I welcome it, hoping for the best, hoping to wake up each morning. The rest I can handle or cope with, me hopes.
I'm depressed that Christmas is over...for me it's all downhill now. Soon it will be 100 degrees, lol. Thankfully I decorated more wintery than Christmasy so I can keep some things up longer. I may even go home before New Year's Eve....I miss going to Curves. Daughter is working today, off tomorrow and was going to be off Friday too but my SIL got invited to play golf at Pebble Beach so my daughter will take his place at work on Friday.
Part of Christmas décor, both outside and inside, will be given away to one of our neighbors or to the Goodwill. A lady a few doors down, told us she would take our 8' artificial tree w/white lights, but it is in three sections...…...and fairly heavy when taken out of the box and put together. Unless she has someone help her, she won't get it up. A lot of the gifts we got for Christmas are décor for Colorado, so those things will be packed up in bubble pac. No real New Years Resolutions, but will be looking forward to getting a spot in Colorado for our boat and getting it transported there. Once our boat goes, we are definitely going. As far as New Years Eve, if we can stay up until midnight, we will. Have a new bottle of champagne to pop open, but that's it. We have never gone out here on New Years Eve and won't. There are no Senior New Years Eve parties here anyway.
When I get finished resolving the resolutions I have made in the past, then is when I can start making new resolutions. Uh oh, I just looked at my flags. I will buy new flags. There. I’m all done with making resolutions.
I'm hoping I'll do better at watching my health. Last part of 2018 was a wake up call. I'm not the world greatest procrastinator, but whoever it is, I'll give em' "a run for their money...!" Promised the wife I would try to do better.
