Nancy Pelosi, Dictator of the House of Representatives, has more brass in her spine than President Trump. In fact, she could probably stare down Vladimir Putin!

If she runs for President in 2020 and is elected, she'll be over 80 when she takes office in January, 2021.

Nancy won't run for president. As I said somewhere else on here, I was proud of her for standing up to Donald. Wish we had a neck ringer in the senate who inspired us as much as does Nancy.

The Senate and the House operate differently, and there was even more difference prior to direct election of Senators.

I totally fail to see that she has brass in her spine at all, and I find her behavior seriously disgusting, as far as caring for the American people.
She blocked every attempt made by either the House or the Senate to pay the furloughed federal workers, even though most of the Republicans voted for them to be paid.
When the only way left for our president to take care of the workers was to open the government up with a compromise, and have the people get their back pay, then that is exactly what he did, and I for one, am PROUD that we have a president that cares this much about plain working class people !

Instead of continuing with something that should be illegal - forcing anyone to come to work, but not paying them timely,
President Trump did the right thing.

I'ts never a sign of weakness to do what's right.

The only thing holding up Pelosi is Chuck Schumer. In their very essence, they are the same as McCain and Graham prior to McCain’s death in that they are joined at the hip.
If either one was either voted out or died, the other would have grow a set or flounder into oblivion.

As it stands, like @Yvonne Smith wrote, Congress had a bill presented to them that would have paid the federal workers and the Dems shot it down. Another sister bill was presented which would have paid the Coast Guard, which again was blocked by Schumer leaving Nancy Pelosi looking like a bobble head agreeing with everything crying Chuck has to say or do.

So far as standing up to Donald Trump, there isn’t anyone in Congress or the entire United States who can’t but one has to look at the reason they’re doing it instead of doing so just because they can.
Schumer and Pelosi have both said in the past that they would never agree to ANYTHING D. Trump initiates so it’s personal and has no room for any considerations regarding the people who pay their paychecks.

    Yes, I know.

Yvonne, I don't like Nancy either...but beyond that, I guess I don't know what the hell I'm talking about when I try to evaluate one politician against another.

Maybe I should just stick to those subjects I know something about, such as Old Movies, Astronomy, Classical and Jazz Music, Guns, Pets, Model Railroads, Recumbent Trikes, and Lightning Machines.

Yup, they both did and at separate times just after D.Trump was elected to office in 2016. I sat in front of the screen and listened to the entire thing. It was during Schumer’s discourse on impeaching the president that he laid out his full intent to block or disagree with anything D. Trump had to offer.
The problem I have now with linking it up is to find a better phrase to bring up the whole argument so the search engines will isolate the statement.
Everything on Google is presently taken up by Schumer and Pelosi on the wall and the government shutdown. Nothing in regard to 2016.
I believe @Ken Anderson might have posted a link in the past and if indeed it was him I trust he will post that once again.

And yeah, Pelosi is just cagy enough to say such a thing although she did say she couldn’t find any reason to impeach the president. (2018)
And no, they’re not dumb but the statements they made are indeed stupid.

Your sitting in front of a screen is not good enough Bobby. Since you have so much information, your excuses are just that. I have time to wait for a link, I'm retired.

I must admit, I'm kind of enjoying seeing y'all being so besides yourselves. Trump's personal approval rating nationwide is 34% and disapproval for a wall is well over 70%. Republicans wish Nancy Pelosi was one of their own. I'm very proud of her. Mueller is closing in..............

You know what I'd really like? For Trump to wake up and be President to ALL the people, not just a third. He still has time, I'm not counting him out. Never count my chickens before they hatch. I've known the Donald to wiggle out of tight spots before, remember, he's my neighbor. NYC can be a small village sometimes.

Definitely I did not call you a liar. You definitely have never appeared to me to be anything but an honest, good man. It is just that Schumer & Pelosi are much too crafty to admit something like that in public. They are extremely skilled politicians. I think you are mistaken; I DO NOT THINK YOU ARE A LIAR! I am sincerely sorry for this misunderstanding, Bobby.

PS--before I sign off for the night

I don't "know" you Bobby, but the Feeling I get from you and Yvonne is, despite some outer differences, which in the grander scheme of things I see as more minor than perhaps you do, I would trust you both With My Life. That is the esteem and high regard I hold you both in.

Nancy Pelosi is a hoot. The only thing keeping her from being a national laughingstock is that the media holds her up as being sane, and most people are content to let the media form their opinions for them.
