As you know from the sports sub-forum, I generally take a long time to add new sections to the forum, but now is as good a time as any to make suggestions. When I add sub-forums, I add them two at a time, so keep that in mind too.
I was getting ready to start a thread about a benefit of the Medicare Advantage Plan, and realized that this really does not fit into any of our existing categories, and there are other factors that might be specific to seniors as far as things like Medicare, Social Security pensions, retirement homes, choosing a supplement, and other similar topics. What i was thinking is that maybe the Senior Employment topic (which does not get many posts), could become a sub-topic under the regular self-employment topic, and then the senior living could take over the space where senior employment is now at If @Ken Anderson wanted to do something like that. Is this possible, or even something that others would like to see as a topic here ? (Meanwhile, I am posting my thread in shopping and sales, because I have no idea where it might fit any better. )
Then check out my thread about my advantage plan benefits, @Gloria Mitchell . Since we really didn’t have a good catagory for medicare or medicare supplements, I just added it into the “shopping and sales” catagory for now.
Sorry, Yvonne. I missed this when you posted it and just came across it now. I think we've been discussing it in Health & Wellness but I would entertain a more specific area, so long as we can come up with a second one so that the list of forums continue to be an even number.
We have Movies & Entertainment and Reading & Writing. Movies & Entertainment: Discussions of movies, plays, concerts or other forums of performance art are the topics of this area of the forum. Reading & Writing: Novels or short stories in any genre, poetry, or other works of literature, whether high-brow or low, are appropriate topics for this category. If we have any authors or poets among us, discussions relating to the art of writing may also be discussed here.
I'm thinking of adding a couple of sub-forums to the Movies & Entertainment category: one for Movies and one for Music, since these seem to be the most common topics in that category. It might make it easier to find a thread.
Probably I'll do it tomorrow, because I'll then have to spend some time moving the movie threads to the Movies sub-forum and the music threads to the Music sub-forum.
Okay. I have created these two sub-forums. Yeah, I know that it took me a while but you have to understand that procrastination is my strong point. I've created them and will be moving some of the threads tonight. There's no rush for it so I think as long as we move as many of them as we have time for, it'll be done soon enough.
