No , not TV announcers per se... just voice over artists... the only ''live '' presenters now are newscasters,... and the ''live show presenters'....

We still have a town crier where I live and in other towns that surround my location
it’s in tradition of keeping the areas Cornish history alive

 

@Kate Ellery - that's right, still going strong - as you say its 'tradition'
If I lived in beautiful Cornwall, I think I could put up with them

 

I read months ago about all the jobs that will longer be around in next ten years. All to be replaced by robots. Ain't that special

 

One would think humans would not have been so short sighted to invent themselves out of so many jobs.

 

I guess there will be a rise in robotic technicians.

 

The Japanese kid robots are creepy........
