Liberty Mutual has started airing a commercial where they tout the fact that they allow you to purchase only the coverage you need..Am I missing something? Everytime in my life that I've bought insurance I always bought only what I needed. Yes I know you've got to have insurance for mortgage loans and car loans.
I really, really hate the commercials that say that their “product” will take the stead of dieting and exercise in order to look like some model or bodybuilder.
Weird can be interesting too. I like the Mayhem commercials of Allstate. The guy is evil. They seem to make new ones just often enough so they don't get old.
I read that the guy in the Allstate commercials (Mayhem) was actually a victim of a serious accident. Allstate hired him since he could play the role well.

I guess I assumed (or whoever I read assumed) the the amputations were due to trauma. I read it quite a while ago, so I can't recall the exact details, but I do remember he was an Allstate client. That was how the connection was made supposedly.
Well, @Holly Saunders , I honestly hope you didn't take this seriously. I feel kind of urged to clarify this.
I like the Geico commercial with the camel...…."hump day". And, the one with the elephant and pistachio nuts. The Liberty Mutual Car Insurance commercial is a bit misleading, when the print below the ad says "not available in California" (car replacement). Then there the Liberty one where the guy throws his wallet into the bay behind him and then wants it back.
Then there's the one by Allstate where a family is riding in the car and except dad they all have headsets listening to whatever. Dad talks about the fact that he gets a safe driver discount every six months that he's told no one about and has enabled him to buy some new golf clubs.
It's "bada-book, bada-boom", just an interjection. Similar to "bada-bing!" or "voila!" In this instance, "bada-book!" is a word play on booking the room, then "bada-boom" means it's done. Stupid commercial.
