That might be true for some, but not in my experience. My husband and I have similar intellect, values, goals, ethics, and we are both home bodies. I was initially attracted to him because he was kind, intelligent, and has amazing green eyes. (Plus he looked really good in his jeans back then... and he still does.)
Johnny and I are opposites but I didn't find that out until after we were married. A good thing for 20 years, you think?
No Golden Rule for marriage, and each pairing depends on the individuals involved. I have thought since I was young that being with someone whose interests and knowledge were different from mine expanded both of our horizons and each taught the other new things. Not everyone will agree, but then people are different...thank God!
errrm...well I think my husband is the luckiest of all, and without going into any specifics ... I know he would agree!!
Right - you are @Beth Gallagher or shall we give our men equal billing - they're lucky and so are we Only fair
I got the Best one ever- at least in Texas. You have no idea what he has - and once again going through with my $#&#& family. Very seldom does a day go by without a an Iove you- or even praise for meals. He is humorous, patient, loving and a good listener..well on important stuff. We have aged and it shows neither look as well as 29 years ago. He's still cutier than me. We still reach for the other ones hand while watching tv or driving down the road. He is everything I am not in many ways. He is and has always been my Hero.
