Fancy $158 million net? What would you do with all that money? This lucky guy is still thinking about it but is sure that he'll still wear his jeans "maybe new ones". He hopes the money won't change him a lot. What do you think such a sum would do with you? Would it change you? (see link with video).

It won't allow me to view that link without disabling my ad blocker... so I can't see it.

However we've had a lot of big winning lottery winners here, and they almost all say it won't change their lives... but of course I can't see how it wouldn't...

It would certainly change my life in many ways.... it wouldn't change me as a person, but my lifestyle would be very different.

That's funny I was able to view it with my ad-blocker and no ads were seen.

On the topic. If I were to somehow come into a ton of money, I've got several charities I'd support and then have work done on the house.

I just checked last nights drawing...no win fer me- not even close. I play Maybe once a year. Not a big gambler. I don't need or want millions. I could be very happy with half a milion..after taxes.I would help certain people get What they need in order suceed better in life - not things they Want.
Woul like to think it would not change me- but if so hopefully for the better .

OT: Clearly no need to watch the video. Yet interesting 'cos the website wouldn't ask me. But if it does, I turn mine off. Afraid of ads or what is the reason?

The first thing that struck me is perhaps a cultural thing. Here where I live only very few people would publicly admit that they'd won the lottery. Is that commonly done in the States or is that unavoidable in this kind of lottery?

I would move - that's about it, the rest to charity

@Holly Saunders I use ad-block plus for my viewing pleasure.
@Thomas Stearn I'm not afraid of ads but when I'm trying to look at something and the page keeps reloading I lose interest in what I was reading.

We don't know how we would react to coming into a large amount of money, but if we are not writing checks for small amounts, to charities now....chances are we would not be writing checks for big amounts later.

I have an ad blocker installed because I don't want adverts blocking my viewing pleasure or harvesting information...

I'm so pleased that my ad blocker blocks most of the ads so that I don't mind turning it off when a website interests me. (Not that newsobserver website, though.)
