" The Economist" and other UK media referred to him as " Tory Clown Prince". Today I heard "Polit Rambo". PS: Also read that Holly does not discuss politics on internet forums.
I was thinking the same - a lot of similarity and can only hope he brings the same success here as Mr. Trump has done for you
Lets hope there's more to him - the 'press' and their opinion mean nothing to me although Rambo traits might not be so bad where the EU are concerned -
You're absolutely right.. I don't discuss politics online...however in this instance I'll just make one reply to this... I like Boris as a person.... he's eccentric.. and dopey and bumbling, and pretty useless all round tbh.... but he's a good egg and I love his family... (yes I've met 2 of them several times)... ... People keep comparing him to president Trump.. there's very few comparisons, apart from being extremely eccentric.. (Boris in An English Public school boy kind of way)... just in case no-one realises..''Public'' schools here are the opposite to the USA)... I would be more than delighted if he can step into May's shoes and deliver us from brexit.. and set this country on it's feet again... but I have serious Doubts.. and the worrying thing is, there's not another person in the Conservative party..much less the Labour or Liberal parties, who could lead this country in any constructive way. Anyway that's my last post on the subject...
I think the UK is a perfect example of a country that with the best of intentions opened it's borders to refugees, worked to be accepting of all cultures, progressive social ideas, welfare reform....all for it to sort of blow up in their face. They REALLY gave it their best effort, and now the hard working citizens want their country back.
'Tis true... Boris, could never be mistaken for ever being coiffured , it's not just his hair, he just doesn't care about clothes, and even when wearing something decent, he's like a schoolboy with his shirt hanging out.
He may have that in common with Angela Merkel who also didn't seem to care about her looks and her hairstyle in particular. But then there was the big change when she became Chancellor. Other people took care of her.
I think Boris will have to pull his socks up too, straighten that tie and press that shirt @Thomas Stearn
She's not looking very well lately is she?... No love lost for her I'm afraid but I do wish her good health!!
