I have noticed that a lot of the time when guests are searching that there seemed to be a visit to the conspiracy section and looking at the thread about the royal bloodlines of presidents and celebrities. I just went to look at how many views that thread has, and it is well over 10,000 views, a lot more than the other threads in that section of the forum. This started me wondering if there is some way we can tell which threads have the most views (by amount) without looking through each thread in every section of the forum, @Ken Anderson ? It looks like at least that thread must be attracting visitors from the search engines .
This is not the total views. Later, when I get a chance, I'll see if I can hunt that down, but these are the top 20 landing pages, meaning the pages that brought people to the site through searches, as well as the most common search terms that brought them there. The search term will be listed first, then the name of the page, with a link to it. senior forums SENIORSonly Club hillary clinton blood type The Royal Bloodlines Of Our Presidents and Entertainers what does duck taste like What Does Roast Duck Taste Like happy birthday denise Happy Birthday, Denise hank kunneman obama Another Political Prophecy By Hank Kunneman... 701-33 Weird Text (cellphone) inspirational quotes for seniors citizens Inspirational Quotes For Senior Citizens happy birthday yvonne Happy Birthday, Yvonne bone weary Bone Weary Tiredness junkables Have You Heard Of Junkables.com maverick storage wars Tattoos hula hooping naked Hula Hooping Naked - A Pome By Me good old days magazine Good Old Days Magazine people leaving florida People Leaving Florida? bamboo pillow kroger Bamboo Pillows, What Do You Think About Them? life is not always fair Life Is Not Always Fair uncle tetsu cheesecake calories Uncle Tetsu Cheesecake To Open First Us Chain In Hawaii matt lauer puffy shirt Matt Lauer As Jerry Seinfeld In The Puffy Shirt first grandma to receive $160k lifetime pension Separating Fact From Fiction daveno couch Couch, Sofa, Davenport As you can see from this, the thread title is very important as far as the thread appearing in search engine results, which is why I always encourage titles that fit the topic of the thread. Apart from the top 20, the royal bloodlines thread shows up under several different search terms, so that's probably it's getting so many visits. Would it help if we voluntarily place 2 or 3 key words after a thread that we start? Such as: The old man went to the sanatorium. Under the post would be "old man" and "sanatorium" as key words for the OP. I have seen it done and it's even mandatory on a few sites but I do not know if it has any real effect on the overall viewing.
Probably not quite in that way, but it is good to make sure that the words used in the title appear in the thread so that the automated algorithm that the search engines use don't consider the title to have been deceptive. Mostly though, if the title gives a good idea of where the author expects the thread to go, a natural conversation will work just fine.

Eating duck.....I found that really funny for a big searched for item. Anyway, I think I posted this early on, but I found this forum searching for insurance reviews information. I'm glad I read the thread about adding the title of the thread into the actual body of the post. It would be good for everyone to know that.
