Our Senior Citizens Club had their First-Saturday-of-the-Month Karaoke party this evening! 56 vocalists performed, singing everything from Classic Rock to Country to Cole Porter ballads. It was my first time on stage with a mike in my hand before an audience of critical Seniors, and I performed "Ghost Riders In The Sky", in the same key that Johnny Cash recorded it, but it was a full step too low in pitch for me, so next time I do it, I'll ask the DJ/Technician to kick it up a full tone to C-Minor instead of the B-flat Minor I sang it in. I still got a good hand at the end! Hal
Hi Hal, always had a good time with singing cover songs thats a harder song to sing in my opinion. James
Good for you @Hal Pollner. Even if you don't hear it there is always a critic in the audience. I have never done karaoke but I have sang in front of an audience solo a few times before.
I have a song you can sing! male or female if you want. just got it back, I sing but I can load the music and let you...
@Von Jones @Holly Saunders ok, I will but it will be in another message, I don`t want to place it here on Hal`s message I`ll post the music track, and lyrics. I`ll have to post me singing the song too, so you can get an idea of how the lyric meters with the music.. after that...its all on you....lol I don`t think I have a "Whiskey song sung by a woman. Title of song: " It`s the Whiskey let me know if you do it, I want to hear. James
