Thomas Cook a travel firm founded in 1850 went bust. Over A hundred thousand British were stranded and people who had booked to go on their holidays could not go. And then for one couple this happened. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowb...uple-performance-dream-Las-Vegas-wedding.html
I wonder if he was performing at the hotel or how he heard about the whole thing. What a wonderful story!!
Nice story, @Tom Galty! I'm glad they didn't spare "The Rod"....and spoil the Wedding! Can't have enough "Happy Endings"! Thanks.
yes I read that the other day... however with regard to your headline..I love Americans generally, I have always found them to be really nice positive confident people .. In real life I've only known a few, the majority online, but my overall experience are that Americans are just nice people.. I just wished they'd learned English properly at school....
well yes but that was a comedy skit.. Tom, you spend a lot of time in the USA how do you find the average American? .be honest !!
Nice people(Except TSA) but they don't have are sense of silly English humour. Such as was sitting at a poker table with 7 Americans in Vegas and just said that on a Cold winters Morning you need to get a Faggot down your throat. PS flying out to Vegas 17 November and cant wait
Girl, I can't even speak the proper American version of English. In the south, we have our 'own version'. We have unique combination of words. Therefore, one word can sometimes be used instead of several words. They don't even have spellings. You just have to know the proper sound.
..and you said that purposely to get a reaction now didn't you?...because no-one would ever say that to anyone here even tho' faggot means meatball...and not what it means in the USA and well you know it..lol
Of course I did it for a reaction I was playing Poker and when you play people in poker you need to make them TILT. She called the floor/manger on me who came up and said O ignore him he is English and winked...had know me for years but she tilted after and was knocked out a few hands later.
