Being on a local forum can get nuts sometimes. I'm on a sports board with a bunch of the local crazies, and it's fun and games on the board ... then it continues when you see them in person!
Me and my husband get together very well because we are of the same type of personality - quiet. But we are not the quiet type who do not talk. What I mean is we don't mind other people as much as possible. Like when in a restaurant and there is a noisy customer disturbing us, what we would do is to move to another table or if it's possible, we leave the place. That's what we resort to instead of getting the attention of those noisy people.
My husband and I were complete opposites, I was the easy going one and he was the rabble rouser. We were very different in almost every aspect. Yin and Yang, but our duality formed a whole and it worked beautifully!
Thanks, y'all, for opening up. Most people are a mixture, thankfully. I like to observe people and see how they act and what they say. There's sometimes a stark contrast to how one is online, versus in real life. There are some people in groups where I belong, and as soon as I see they have posted, I have a good idea what the post is about, or what its tone will be. It's the same on Twitter. Some will garner instant RTs before I even read the posts, because I know I will agree with them, or it will be some sage piece of advice. Others, I steer clear of, because they're trouble with a capital T. I think most of us are capable of pretty much anything if pushed too far, but some people seem to enjoy living in that 'too far' zone.
