Yes, that's my dog Marley. She's part German Shepherd and Welsh Border Collie mix. She is a rescue from a kill shelter by Orphaned Pets, Inc. and I was fortunate enough to pick her out. She has the sweetest disposition of any dog I've ever owned. She suffered separation anxiety and was a handful at first. That's why she was deemed unadoptable. Just firm but kind training and she was putty in my hands and just about everyone else. Quite sociable and extremely curious. A dream dog.
If I ever do get a dog, I want one that is older and already trained. I don't think I would want to go through the whole puppy stage.
Have to admit we felt the same after bringing Bonnie home. She has been a real trial with her toilet training and other puppy issues. So our next pooch will be older and trained. Daddy.
