I've come across some obnoxious pro-Trump people, too; the kind who believe that President Trump could do no wrong, and who act as if it were a sacrilege to ever disagree with him on anything. Even worse are the unthinking solid Republicans who will insist that you hate America if you don't vote for everyone with an "R" after their name, particularly when this includes pukes like Susan Collins and Mitt Romney. While I will say that the Democrats have sunk to a point where voting Democrat does suggest a hatred for America or some other aberration, that doesn't mean that every Republican is deserving of a vote. I didn't vote for John McCain or Mitt Romney when they ran, but neither did I vote for Barack Obama, and I have never voted for Susan Collins or any of the Democrats who ran against her.

The racist accusations against Trump were just bizarre. He has been in the public eye for most of his adult life, if not before, and there was never a hint of racism until he decided to run against Hillary Clinton. New York City isn't known for being a hotbed of Ku Klux Klan activity, either. I voted for Trump despite his being way more liberal than I would have preferred, particularly on social issues, largely because the alternative, Hillary Clinton, would have been like electing Barack Obama with ties to the criminal underground.

Trump is not a conservative. While I sometimes wish he were more principled, he is a pragmatist. He will do whatever he thinks he needs to do in order to get the job done. Whether his decisions are right or wrong, they are made for the good of the country rather than for personal gain or the furtherance of a dangerous global agenda, as would be the case with Hillary Clinton. Although I haven't liked everything that he has done, I didn't expect to, and sometimes the facts have proven that he knew what he was doing.

I'm usually so sure I'm right, until I don't really care what anyone thinks of my opinions anyway. :D

I'm a tolerant person. I believe that other people have the right to be wrong.
