Couch, Sofa, Davenport

This is what we mostly had while I was growing up.

 

how about the word...... chesterfield... ????
We up here refer to a sofa as a chesterfield.....

 

I think a Chesterfield is a certain style of couch. The ones I've seen are leather with all the "button" upholstery like you'd see in an expensive lawyer's office.

Recliner(s)

 

That is what we have in our living room...
Rocker, recliner ….
They are great except it is way too easy to fall asleep while watching TV....

 

Mind you, at our age, .......... why not just nod off..
I find TV rather boring lately.. No decent programs to watch..
If there is an interesting program, I'll watch but if it is a boring one, I'm off to nodding off in my rocker, recliner...

Now, who would have one of those.. Personally, all we have is a rocker recliner and that seems to suffice..

 

Someone who would benefit from the features offered.
