Arose to four plus inches of snow this morning in Central Oklahma. This will give me a chance to try out the manuel mode of my camera. Never used the mauel mode before.
We're having "Texas Weather" this week; it was 80 yesterday and 40 today. We "might" get a dusting of snow, too. Let's see those photos, Bill!
Still snowing here but temperature is up to thirty and more snow too the southwest. If the temp rises it culd turn to rain. I noticed on radar early this morning snow was falling all the way down south of US - Mxcan border, all coming my way. Our high today will be around 35 F. but it will be slock in the morning after it freezes over tonight.
I want to see some pictures, Bill. It looks like we might not get any snow this winter. So, please share the pictures of yours.
Our snow came in early Monday morning, after a little rain first. Thing is, the rain on the windshields turned to ice and then snow on top of that. I cleaned 3 inches of snow off of our Durango on Monday afternoon. Later, it started snow again, at times pretty heavily. Yesterday afternoon/Tuesday, I cleaned off 6 inches. It snow some overnight, but only about an inch. So, with this last storm, we got a total of about 10 inches. Last November, we got 24 inches from one storm. Now the forecasters are calling for more snow tomorrow night into Friday. And, on top of the snow on Monday and Tuesday, this morning (Wednesday) at 6:30AM, it was -6 degrees. ***I'm sure folks at our old apartment complex, in northeastern Florida, would be laughing and saying "you chose to move back to Colorado". But, this summer, when either a Hurricane or Tropical Storm is heading toward Florida, and we are in beautiful sunny weather here, we will be thinking "that's one reason we moved back to Colorado!***
I'd like to see the pictures too Bill. I used to have a penpal up until a few years ago who lived on a farm in Norman Oklahoma, but she died in her 40's of BC.. and she used to send pictures occasionally... I miss her to this day...
Well, we didn't get our "dusting," and today it will be 70 degrees. I need to drag out the sunshine shovel and get busy.
