Watch this entire video. My former neighbor, a retired black fireman/paramedic, sent me this video today with his highest endorsement. He is sickened watching black communities destroyed over this career criminal, George Floyd. He says the current genocide of blacks is being executed by the liberal media controlled by fake white apologists and black plantation overseers as racial justice.

She touched a lot of issues that the "elites' don't want to hear.

Bless her heart. She must think she has an original idea. Glad she was able to get it off her chest publicly. This is bigger than George Floyd. Most people know this.

This link has an autopsy report. Floyd tested positive for SARS 2 COVID virus. I wonder if this respiratory virus along with the high level of drugs might have caused his breathing to be weak and the knee to the side of the neck finished him? Maybe he wouldn't be dead if he was in perfect health and drug-free even with the same knee pressure. That doesn't excuse the fact the officer had a disregard for his life but also shows the officer wasn't a crazed racist hunting down and killing innocent black people for sport like the mobs, both peaceful and violent are portraying. No reason to defund police, but rather increase funding and encourage young black men to become officers and make a difference.

    Good afternoon to all-

I am afraid I must take exception to the tone of the original post on this subject.
If you feel that black men are not automatically seen as threats and as perpetrators by police then you';re denying reality.
There is no excuse for what that police officer did.
I am concerned about this whole situation. My grandsons are half Indian and while no one would mistake them after close examination for African-American, they are darker in complexion than many cops. I worry that they will be targeted because of their appearance and not for their behavior at some point in the future.
To try and justify the actions of the Minneapolis police who killed Mr. Floyd is not a reasonable action.

    good day to all- Ed

Wow! That young lady is clearly bright, well spoken, and processes events with logic and not emotion.

I watched the memorial service in NC for him yesterday. They had some kind of tapestry with a picture of him wearing wings and a halo over his head. If they keep on, they are going to canonize him.

Why is it that when somebody dies, they suddenly become a saint? His death was tragic but that hardly makes him a saint.

A friend of mine once told me that she had an uncle who was a horrible man. Then he died. She went to his funeral and the preacher was making him sound like some kind of saint. He went on and on. She said, "I thought I might be at the wrong funeral. I started to get up and go look in the coffin to make sure I was at the right funeral." :D:D:D:D:D

Candace Owen's views are very interesting. I would make the point, though, that a totally innocent, habitually law-abiding black person is much less like to have any encounter with police than than a habitual law breaker, such as George Floyd. So, of course, the people who are systematically brutalized by police are very likely to have something of a criminal past, be it serious or minor. The point may seem technical and obscure but is relevant, I think.

None of any of that matters. I don't care if the man was a child rapist caught in the act. The police are not judge jury and executioner as much as many of yall would like them to be.
Rule #1 in the handbook: Only the minimum amount of force necessary to effect the apprehension is authorized. How hard is that to understand? a jackboot is on someones neck for 8 minutes after he is already handcuffed is nothing more than murder and wanton cruelty!

I agree with @Peter Renfro that this one incident has no excuses and the policeman is charged with murder and other police have been charged. What I do not see is this gives anyone the right to riot and loot. If BLM they don't seem to when it is black on black crimes or when abortion clinics rip apart black babies and kill them.
When they talk to the BLM about black on black crimes or abortions dead quiet. Why is it this happens just before elections last big BLM was 4 years ago.
