Several Things We Hear And Don't Believe

1- The doctor will be with you in a moment.
2- Dinner will be ready any minute.
3- You'll feel better in the morning.
4- I'm almost ready to go.

 

My wife's sister is constantly asking me, "why are these people doing this". Wife and I do agree that her sister has lived a very sheltered life!

When a car repair tells you, "we will call you when your vehicle is ready" and you see your vehicle sitting in the parking lot (done) and no phone call. You have to go to the Service Desk and ask for it.

When a person says # 4 to me. My answer is "OK, I wait here." ...and as soon as he /she re-enters the house I leave and that person will have to call few times before I answer / pick him or her up. Trust me, they may say #4 to others but never again to me.
