Barrett was joined by her husband and their seven children. As they walked onto the stage, the crowd of assembled VIPs that included Attorney General William Barr cheered.

I was a victim of the virus, COVID-19. What an unhappy camper I was while I was sick. It was nothing like the flu or any other illness I ever encountered. But, I did survive and am grateful. Some people will never get it like anything else I guess. Others won't be as ill as I and many others were, but it is with us now forever. Vaccination when available will be the answer, not masks. If you get close enough to some one who breathes in your face, that's you fault. Masks carry other pathogens that we breathe in and could make us sick as well. Try to fight city hall on these issues and it is like butting your head against a brick wall.

The head of Virginia's Health Department said he has the authority under current law to make a COVID vaccination mandatory, and he will do it as soon as a vaccine is available. I wonder if Mandatory Vaccination would be the first "gotta hear it now" case to hit SCOTUS for the new justice's first event.
The reports that are coming out in the news about the confirmation hearings seem to be ridiculous. Even though Ms. Barrett has adopted two children from Haiti, Cory Booker asker her if she did or did not support white supremacy . To me , even more bizarre was the female senator from Hawaii, Marie Hirono, who asked her if she had ever been charged with sexual assault on someone.
