If our governor wasn't batshit crazy, things would be pretty much normal around here. Other than seeing people wearing diapers on their faces, things are fairly normal as long as I stay north of Bangor. Southern Maine is absolutely nuts, though.

Yeadon's paper was "published" in September. The "research" had to be done even prior to that. "Things have changed.... She doesn't love me now."

All for a virus that has a 99.95% survival rate. Unless you get the vaccine and your chance of death just went up.
All over social media is information about states being locked down for Thanksgiving, and some even through Christmas. Some places have a curfew, like you are safe from the virus as long as you are in your house before 10 PM. However, it appears that all of the stores are still planning the Black Friday sales, and I haven’t seen anyone saying that they can’t get into the crowd of shoppers and not be safe. Do you suppose that all of those people racing for the best sales are going to be concerned about social distancing, or is that just an issue when you are having roasted turkey ?
I have "Covid fatique", not so much from the virus, but from all the muddled and confusing media, and not knowing who to believe.
Are stores still doing Black Friday? Our Wal Mart has just gone back to counting folks in and out. Wouldn't think a good ole fashioned run grandma down with my buggy event would be compatible.
I think the online sales will be the busiest. Websites have had their Black Friday deals up for a week or more already, which kind of blows "cyber Monday" out of the water.
I have been in stores that have the distance markings on the floor and some people still disregard them. I look down to hint at where they are standing but I'm thinking 'Get back!'
