No matter how much, or how many things in life are of interest, "leave no stone unturned" making sure it is correct before trusting anything.
If your thread is about the "19" vaccine, I totally understand. However, some things a person really has to trust, because they don't have the education to think/know otherwise. I'm not Dr. Fauci. Wife and I have to trust what our individual doctors tell us. They have the experience and Degrees we don't have.
With the resources available today, until they all get censored as they did in nazi Germany ans Socialist Italy and Communist China, the level of education to search for the truth is not so important nor needful as simply looking for the truth, and testing everything as possible before accepting it. Others learned when younger, or after 80 years old, what they could do for themselves, and also with other methods, with different doctors, .... If you want testable methods, proven methods, just ask. I posted some reference on the other thread with articles about things that had many good results over the centuries, and are still good to do/ use/ find out about.
Actually, it is about everything. In Life. Spiritual, mental, physical... always seek the truth, and keep seeking the truth..... every day.
"trust what our individual doctors tell us"? Do you have any concept of how much our American medical system is manipulated and controlled by government (medicare rules for us seniors and especially since ACA was forced into being) and insurance regulations? Due you realize that tax regulations increasingly apply to medical treatment. Individual doctors can't practice real medicine (and tell us the complete truth) until they comply with truly non-medical regulations. The person that is really responsible for individual health is the patient. Would you submit to an operation without a second opinion?
Some people have been taught all their life to trust their doctor. To find out otherwise is devastating, seemingly life-threatening to them.
Well, after trying a cortisone shot in my right hip, instead of getting a hip replacement, in 2005, and the shot didn't help, I looked at a YouTube video of a hip replacement. Due to the video, come very close to not having the surgery done, but changed my mind. Had the surgery/rehab, and to this day, extremely glad I did! My PCP told me "try the shot, but if it doesn't work, surgery is the only thing that can help you." He was absolutely/totally right. There are certain things that can physically happen to a person that they aren't responsible for, like: eye cataracts, tendon tears in shoulders, the decrease of cartilage in the hip area and so on. A patient can take care of themselves to the upmost and still have these things happen to them.
For what it's worth (it's too late after the fact), there are many health care providers who warn about the dangers of , side effects of, and reasons not to use drugs. They also know of and offer information on other methods more appropriate, less dangerous, and a lot less expensive. To find out, requires diligence in searching, and testing, verifying, "making sure", what is right, that it works, and sometimes requires finding out WHY the doctors won't talk about it. Anecdote: A senator's son was seen by 4 doctors. Three of the doctors (guess what kind) claimed surgery was required. One of the doctors was honest, and told the senator what else could (and 'should') be done to help him. Thankfully, the senator decided on no surgery. Thankfully, that was the right way to go. Thankfully, even poor people can find out. Regretfully, most people trust the medical system that is inclined to cut, burn, poison. More money that way, and a lot more "official" support. That is the nature of the beast, eh ?
Other people trust other doctors who are more successful at healing the people they help, for a fraction of the price/cost. So no one "has to " trust the one they have now.
