I have had posts deleted for what the forum athorities deem a personal attack on another member. I made what I thought was a subtle post about someone that may think of being a god and the post was deleted. Unfair say I.
All I can say is, welcome to forum life, Lon. I wouldn't think much of it. I've had a few posts deleted and I understood why.

Personally I prefer direct, blatant attacks so no one has to wonder what I meant by that. (Don't take it personally, Lon.)
I got in trouble for so called political views someone posted that they didn't know anyone from Utah I replied Senator Romney is from Utah then I got the warning no pollical comments on this forum.
Ah, could it be the “other” senior’s forum? They had so many problems with people getting really, really nasty that they cut out politics altogether. There are times that I can easily write that I can’t blame the forum for doing that. And, so far as it being fair or unfair, that’s pretty much up to the administrator and his or her rules. His house, his party, his rules. (or her’s as the case may be).
Not at all needed Herb. We’ve gleaned a half dozen members from other forums (one in particular comes to mind) with the same complaints. This forum is pretty relaxed comparatively but the thing is that it’s a universal rule that we shouldn’t be involved with personal attacks nor even subtly because everyone knows who is being gabbed about. Now, there’s always going to be skirmishes between two people here and there because it comes with the territory but at the end of the day, any decision to put people on vacation or delete posts or reorganize posts is up to the administrator and the moderator. Pretty easy stuff really.......
I try to stay away from political opinions since I don't have a vote but I do have a strong opinion about the virus or so called virus since it affects my personal life. Thank God we have a forum monitor
Shoot! I put my foot in it lots of times our here in the real world. I have had mostly forgiving friends, I guess. Politics has been a nation/even world divider. and sometimes I throw things out here before reading the whole thread. I would apologize and make everyone muffins... No wait. I guess I will just apologize for past transgressions. People just say stuff sometimes and it isn't always what is meant. I put a LOT of time and effort making a wild foods dinner one time for a large church ladies turnout. I used up almost all of my put up foods. Wild mushrooms, cream of nettle soup, rabbit,.... Anyway, I was kind of shocked when my neighbor offered to say the blessing and ended with, "and thank you Lord that we don't have to eat like this every day." ????? I am old so had to chew on that for a bit and then laughed. I think she meant that we could just go to the store to get our food and not have to forage. I always recommend learning to find free food and how to put it up. It is definitely a lot of work but I enjoy that instead of sitting in a cubicle to buy the things I need. It is not gmo or sprayed. Heads up! It is almost time to tap your maple trees (late March) And I don't have any sugar maples so I use silver maples! Yum!
