It's 70 degrees in Houston today. Our pool pump thawed out and is running like a champ. All my big potted plants from the patio froze even though we put them in the shed. Lots of cleanup in the backyard this week.

When I was living in Idaho and had no running water, what I would do is go to the laundromat, and while washing my clothes, I would shampoo my hair and take a sponge bath in the bathroom of the laundromat.
If you have some place nearby with water running, you might be able to do the same thing until they get your pipes repaired and you have water running again, @Gloria Mitchell .

When I was remodeling my bathroom, I went to the community center on the other side of the county to shower. I guess we all do what we gotta do.

Finally, the "boil water" notice has been rescinded by our water provider. I've been running all the faucets for a few minutes to clear out the pipes.

It's supposed to be 76 degrees today.
