I noticed beside my name something called "points".. Seems like 113 is the maximum.. What are they all about?? how do you get them?? What do you do with them?? What good are they?? Just asking.................................................

Hey, don't be starting rumors that I can't afford. Points, or trophies, are not something that I have set up to any degree here yet, so what we have is the default that comes with the installation of the software. Points can be used in several ways, including prizes, if that were something that I could afford, but they can also be used to allow extra privileges, such as being able to edit your posts for a longer period of time, or being able to delete them, the idea being that these forum members are less likely to go off the deep end and cause damage to the forum, such as deleting all their posts or editing out the content, making the thread pointless. They can also be used to grant access to additional sections of the forum, which I might do at some point, once the forum becomes more established. However, any section of the forum that requires special access would not be accessible to search engine spiders, and so would not add to the forum's search engine optimization. Large, very busy, forums can afford to do that, but beginning ones can't. The current points system can be found here, but I can add to that, and probably will once I find the time.

Probably not, @Shirley Martin ... according to @Terry Page 's explanation for what *I* want, you'll probably have to keep saving your points for about 185 more years for those skates. Sorry! I'm only having to save until the year 3016. Maybe I should water down my transportation choices?
