Good post, Hal. Happy Easter to everyone. I like to refer to Easter as “Resurrection Day”, for that is what it is. On this day we celebrate the most crucial event in Biblical history: the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He died the most horrible death on the cross anyone could imagine because He loved us so much and wanted to restore us, and reconcile us to Himself. All one has to do is believe in Him and believe that He arose from the tomb and went back to Heaven to prepare a place for believers to live with Him forever and forgive us for all our wrongdoings and live for Him. So, this Easter, we should remember the meaning of what happened 2000 yr ago. As stated in 2 Corinthians 5:21 “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” Remember, it there was some other way for us to get to heaven, God would not have sacrificed His only Son.
I celebrate Resurrection Day also. Thank you, Jesus for being my Lord and Savior, and cleansing me from all my sins by Your shed blood. Happy Resurrection Day to you Hugh.
