    Well, a little add-on to my reply #10: Bobby, if wife and I ever needed a bodyguard, we darn sure know who we'd ask for.........you!

    Thanx for the compliment but honestly, I’m just like any other old guy. That said, the one thing most young guys haven’t learned is that old guys do not heal as easily as we use to so most of us do not mind using a stick, rock, brick or that thing that goes bang-bang. It ain’t fair but who said that defending yourself or your neighbor has to be fair?

    @Cody Fousnaugh

    Sounds like "hasty generalization", to me.

    Not "hasty" at all. Don't believe what I say, just look up the crime stats for Jacksonville, FL.. Anyway, we lived there for 10 1/2 years and that's definitely enough time to know how the city is.........especially the really crime parts.

    It's not black-on-white or black-on-Asian or black-on-another other race, but it's own.

    Don't know how the city was when Bobby knew it, but we definitely know what it was like when we lived there. Not the area we lived in, but definitely parts of the city.

    "Hasty Generalization" is a Psychology and Statistics term used to connote conclusions drawn irrationally or incompletely.

    But for some it's a coping skill. ;)
