Gas has gone up here about 30% since the inauguration. Not only does it affect commuters as mentioned above, it also affects truckers and farmers, both of which affect the food chain prices, as diesel and jet fuel are also climbing.
That was such a clear message...even worse without a teleprompter than Obama. It did look as though it has been edited however, much as was done to Trumps speeches by the Media. There were some comments online that Biden appeared to completely forget the name of his Secretary of Defense in one of the few interviews he has given. I find it truly sad to witness the Presidency in the hands of someone whose mind has so deteriorated. Someone else also commented, "If Biden is Charlie McCarthy, who is Edgar Bergen?"
I recently bought a gallon of Kerosene........5 beans a gallon! It’s a good thing I’m not trying to heat up my home with the stuff! Within a day after Biden started shoveling out executive orders to rescind Trumps executive orders everything started going up except....the stock market which has steadily declined since then.
The price of gas will continue to climb with the Democrats in charge. The higher the price of gas gets, the more taxes the government collects.
Are your prices locked in, or does your agreement allow for increases? Utilities and food costs are likely to rise. And if more wage increase laws get passed, labor's gonna go up as well.
And with that, the individual states can’t even think about raising tax rates on gas a single cent per gallon because the prices are already inflated. If a state has a bonafide reason to need extra money via gas taxes, that state will have to come up with another way to finance the project. Mark my word, we’ll be paying another buck more per gallon (or more) by this time next year if Harris, Jill, Pelosi and Schumer do not go back to Trump’s rationale. They won’t so we and the states will have to take the beating or start standing up........
The next move to concurrently raise road tax dollars and track our every move will be to levy a "Per Mile Driven" fee via an in-vehicle monitoring device. Legislation was proposed once here in Virginia and rejected, but these days there is nothing too abusive to get consideration. Those of us in rural areas (not much money and things spread out) will get screwed. Those who aren't afraid to speak the truth point out that a subordinate motive is to corral people into more crowded (and less spread out) areas. Intensity of mask rage is directly proportionate to population density. They want us all there.
And the dollar will continue to lose it's value, as we slip into a depression. Be prepared, it is coming.
