    Tim_Scott,_official_portrait,_113th_Congress.jpg

Keep your eyes on this young man. I predict he will be on the ticket in 2024 either as presidential or vice- presidential candidate. He is "bright, clean and articulate". :)

Scott was born in North Charleston, South Carolina, a son of Frances, a nursing assistant, and Ben Scott Sr. His parents divorced when he was 7. He grew up in working-class poverty with his mother working 16-hour days to support her family, including Tim's brothers. His older brother is a sergeant major in the U.S. Army. His younger brother is a U.S. Air Force colonel. Since joining the Senate in 2013, Senator Scott has been a national leader on efforts to bring opportunity to every American family. His signature legislation creating Opportunity Zones was passed as part of the 2017 tax reform package, and has the potential to bring billions of dollars of private investment into distressed communities across the country.

He supports tackling the skills gap, making sure children have access to the educational environment best suited for them, and working to bring everyone to the table to find solutions,

Since January 2017, Scott has been one of eleven African-Americans to have served in the U.S. Senate, and the first to serve in both chambers of Congress. He is the seventh African-American to have been elected to the Senate and the fourth from the Republican Party. He is the first African-American senator from South Carolina, the first African-American senator to be elected from the southern United States since 1881 (four years after the end of the Reconstruction era), and the first African-American Republican to serve in the U.S. Senate since Edward Brooke departed in 1979.

I would certainly vote for him if he runs.

It sounds like he might be someone who could run for a higher office, but even if he got the presidency, he would not be the first black American, since Obama has that claim.

Nope. Obama wasn't black. He was bi-racial.

Tim Scott is impressive. While I doubt that I'll be voting ever again, if I were to vote, I could see myself voting for him, although I'd do a little more homework before I did that.

Probably not, as his life history makes no sense, but if you question it, you will be called names instead of getting answers. That tells me he alleged biography isn't kosher. Health history sealed; education history sealed....

No, Tim Scott won't be the next president, because there will never be another semi-honest election. The only way I see an honest election is if the people take the county back by force and that isn't going to happen.

And so, for a solid month everything is going just fine and then the filthy mouthed cockwomble decides to show back up and starts playing troll and calling people racist.
Flipping coward wouldn’t say that to her face but will sho do it on the net where he’s safe and sound..

Back on track, the government deemed back when Mayor Morial was in conflict about his son’s eligibility to have a minority status for the World’s Fair in New Orleans, if one is something like 1/64th black then they are black.
Consequently, Morial’s son was able to have the cap concession at the fair under that mandate. Strange but true.
Obama couldn’t have run as bi-racial or anything but black according to the government.

Bobby why don't you tell your wife to have me banned again. Maybe a headsup this time instead of a drive by shooting!

Uh, if I pm’d everyone on this forum the filth you wrote my wife, a woman who has defended you time after time, I dare say everyone would be gunning for you.
If that’s the way you accept other men talking in front of your own wife I do pity her.
My wife is a lady and has always presented herself as a lady and you told her what?
And yes, you are indeed a cockwomble. Look it up. It fits.

And, I have absolutely no input whether you should be banned or not but if it were up to me you’d have been banned a year ago....permanently.
Really? So, Ronald Reagan wasn’t noted as being articulate??
JFK wasn’t known for being articulate?

Again, get your facts straight before you write. Lick some stamps or go chase dogs with your dog spray or something first.

The only racism I read here is the above. The attempt to write as an old southern American from slavery roots is racism and insulting to mock ones whose ancestors endured unbelievable cruelty just to rise and form the party of Lincoln and fight with other non-slavery Americans to make changes.

Black American is in reference to those from southern American slavery roots, or it once was. Barack Obama is not a "Black" American. He had no American slavery roots. FACT >> He is African American as his father was Kenyan, African and his mother American. Had his mother been from southern American African slavery roots then he could be referred to as a "Black" American.
