Had a semi active day today.. I drove to the bank which is in the next town about 15kms away.. Went in, did my banking and drove back home.. Tomorrow is food shopping day.. We will be going to the supermarket, but I will stay in the car.. There is NO way I can walk up the isles..
I’ve just back at 5 pm after travelling to the city and back for physio for Ron and myself It’s the first time he’s had any physio but the he said to Ron his hip is doing really well ,my leg where the bone was broken has been giving me lots of pain ( physio thinks I walk to fast for my age ) but also thinks maybe the bone that builds up around a fracture might be irritating the ligaments causing the pain ,but it’s been so cold here so it’s prob not helping the fracture healing and him and my GP say it takes longer to heal when your older ..yeah yeah Try to catch up tomorrow bye xx
well its true, the older you get the longer the healing, !!!just like Steve has to do, too, And me too if anything bad happened to me.. i will be 79 this year so im try to be very careful..!!!!
Good news about Ron, Kate. You had a pretty nasty break in your lag so it will take more time to heal. Plus, having to wait so long to get it treated likely made it worse. Just be careful with it until it completely heals. Steve, how did your shopping trip go? I picked blueberries this morning. I should have started earlier because it was hot! I picked nearly a gallon and then quit. I was almost sweating but quit while I was still dewy. And if you believe that, I have some nice ocean front property for sale.
We didn't go shopping because it was really awful weather today, so we stayed home.. tomorrow will be nicer, so we will do our food shopping.. Today I took a shower, cooked a tuna casserole for supper, cleaned up after supper.. now, I am sort of pooped..
I played a few games tonight.. not as many as usual, but I am tired.. Tomorrow is a rather big day for me with food shopping.. One of the supermarkets has an electric cart I can use to get around which will make it easier.. Still it will be another tiering day...
yes, our stores have those electric carts too,, like driving a little car !!.. our dumb president wants America to drive those electric cars ,,they have been around for a while but never seen very many of them. and so if you travel alot ,its a pain in the butt to have to stop and plug in your car for a few hours in order to get anywhere far away.. a stupid waste of our American money !! And gasoline prices for our automobiles are skyrocketing now too,,!! anywho. this too shall pass. i hope anyway...
So..... how did it go, Steve? BTW, how is your garden looking? Is Annmarie able to take care of it? I would expect that with all the cold weather y'all are having, it wouldn't be doing well. Louise, I have seen a few of those electric cars here. My lawnmower is bigger than they are. If one of them was in an accident with a tractor trailer truck, it would be crushed like a bug run over by a steam roller. No way I'd ever have one. I like living too much. Hi, Kate!!!!!
and not only that ,,but the cost of those cars are only for the rich and famous!!. what a ridiculous idea !! i want to keep our little Ford Focus for the rest of our lives , i hope anyway..
Our vegetable garden is doing just great , but with the lack of really hot weather, it is a bit on the slow side.. I am now taking care of it by weeding and watering it.. When I said an electric cart, I meant in the grocery store, something like the Walmart stores have for those that can't walk the store... Those electric cars are totally no good up here.. I don't think I've ever seen one up here.. food shopping yesterday was totally exhausting.. Somehow I came home totally pooped, so much that I couldn't come on here to play games.. I went to bed early and finally I am on here.. Went to bed at 10:30 and I woke up just after 9:00.. That's a good sleep which I needed.. Today after all the rain we have been having, it is time to mow the lawns.. It should take me about 2 hours on my rider to do most of the lawns.. That is only driving the mower which isn't that labour intensive.. I'll be OK... If I feel like I have had it, I promise I will quit and continue on tomorrow.. I won't push it if I can't..

I did something yesterday that I seldom do. Around 2:30 or so, I got so tired and sleepy that I got in my recliner, wrapped up with a blanket and took a long nap. I was cold but I don't know why. I'm OK today.
I’ve gotta run …car got a scratch with you know who driving …….not me It’s going to be repaired tomorrow so won’t have car for a week ..so gotta get stuff done today Bye bye
