    @Beth Gallagher

    Always struck me that "Morality" was only a "t" away from mortality.

    @ Beth I'm so pleased the chemo is over. You've been through hell but you're on your way to good health again.

    Tomorrow I have to be at MD Anderson at 7 a.m., which means I'll have to drag out of bed at 5. :confused: I have SIX appointments, all "pre-op" stuff. I'll have an ultrasound scan, an EKG, an onco-surgeon consultation, a plastic surgeon consultation, a peri-operative evaluation (??), and finally an anesthesia assessment and "OR procedures". Sheesh. Gonna be a long day.

    Thanks, Bruce. Other than getting up at the butt crack of dawn it should be an easy day... just long. Then I get 2 weeks off before the actual surgery.

    As a night owl, getting up early is the biggest challenge. :D I have a ton of questions for the surgeons so I'll be glad to get more information to sort through.

    What a day; my butt is definitely dragging.

    I am jam-packed with surgery info, and got the good news that chemo has been very effective on my cancer. The surgeon was beaming when she looked at the scans and kept saying "excellent!" I figured the scans were good because the ultrasound tech kept saying "you are doing SO good" while she was scanning my chest and armpit. They weren't able to locate the cancerous lymph node; it is totally back to normal... so yay.
