Praising and thanking God for your awesome results Beth. May it continue this way for you as you keep stepping forward on the journey you are on.
Hey Von. No; unfortunately with IBC the treatment options don't change. It's chemo, surgery, and then radiation because IBC is sneaky and extremely aggressive. The doctors just give a better survival prognosis if the cancer is killed by chemo. (Some unfortunate people actually have cancer that keeps growing through chemo. ) We won't know exactly how effective the chemo was until pathology after surgery, where I'm hoping for the best outcome... "PCR," which is pathologic complete response. So if anyone is still praying for me, please ask for PCR!
Thanks @Ken Anderson , @Tony Page , @Nancy Hart , @John Brunner , @Bruce Andrew and @Babs Hunt ! I appreciate the support so much. Babs--I hope you are continuing to feel good and are doing well. Hugs to you.
Hah. If you could see me in full meltdown mode with hiccups from crying you wouldn't think I was brave at all, Marie. It has definitely been a roller coaster ride of emotions.
Well as the ol rocker once said " you wear it well" according to your posting here, but I can't imagine you not being upset at times either.
