    True. Very sick.
But that said, if someone burns a building down in Portland they might get arrested but they’re almost immediately released.
Now, according to the new bill [that won’t pass], they want to throw the book at a person if they work their rear ends off in the ranching business.

Interesting. You can get 1000 people to sign almost any petition, no matter how goofy. They had to get 100,000 more signatures by the end of July, yet it is now August, and there is no report anywhere whether it made it or not. And it's not going to pass if it gets on the ballot anyway.

All the publicity this petition is getting, may just be a means to raise money for lobbying, for some other issue. Nothing to get all worked up about, imo.

Honestly Gloria, I’m just messing around with the whole subject. Didn’t mean to bend feathers.
The bill won’t pass but you have to admit that there is some irony to it.

Nancy, it is a direct insult and assault on Eastern Oregon. The governor did it just to push and show her power. She knows there is no way it is going to pass even if they sneak it in on the ballot, but who knows now that elections are easily rigged. In any case, she is retaliating. She has ever since the Republicans walked out and the state police wouldn't carry out her orders to arrest them. The importance of this proposed bill is much deeper than the face value. Eastern Oregon never had a homeless problem until Brown buddies started busing them out here from Portland. Now there are two camps less than a 1/2 mile from me. They even resurrected an old hobo jungle on Federal property and not even the Federal rail police will ask them to leave, instead, they took them, new blue tarps, a couple of large garbage cans that volunteers empty for them. Governor Brown and her gang have all but destroyed Oregon. She proved herself a JOKE when she promised to make Nike and other Corps pay their fair share of taxes. We even voted for it and it became law, but Nike says bye-bye then, we will leave Oregon and you will lose jobs and those taxpayers money. She caved and then rewarded Nike with whatever they asked for, despite that the corporate tax was law and still is! Despite what the media reports, Nike put big money into her campaign under other disguises. They donated to the Republican candidate just for show. It was just the old rope-a-dope that is the norm now.

To understand what is behind this initiative, you must understand who Adolphia H. Brown is. She was programed "educated" at the USA's most liberal college, Reed College in Portland, Oregon. I know firsthand what some of their professors have taught and are teaching. The sad thing is they have a great music department and one professor there is an acquaintance and an amazing guitarist and scholar. I was invited to do a class demonstrating some of my unique techniques and interpretations, but I declined as I want no association with a school where young adults are told that socialism and no commitment sex are the right way. They exist in a polluted city, but if they have urban chickens, usually Barred Rock, then they are doing their part for the environment as long as they don't kill the chickens. Barred Rocks are a dual-purpose chicken so this never made one bit of sense to me. I think the Bhagwan 1984 that overthrew Antelope, had a lasting influence on this school and also on Oregon politics. I have a great dislike for any that sympathize with the followers of the Bhagwan, now known as Osho because they poisoned me in 1984 lacing the salad bar at Taco Time which I ate unaware. I hate tofu and they can stuff it up their wazoo.

Ranchers and exranchers, like me, take this initiative very seriously because of the implications. She also tried to pass a fuel tax on diesel if used for farm equipment. The wheat farmers being a strong and well-funded group set her straight on that lunacy and assault. The cattle ranchers don't have that kind of power so she is coming up with any and everything in her final year. Throw everything at the wall and see what sticks so to speak.

Faye although interested in your opnion this is a long one.My attention span isn't what it use to be.Condense.

I think hunting will soon be a thing of the past for many of us anyway. I know here in rural what use to be rural thick foilage is turning into more surburbia than rural. Wildlife doesn't have a chance ,sadly. We try to keep a small forested area ' 5ac.s ' for some to run to but they still are fewer every year. We still have our mama deer and her 3 fawns who were all born here. She can jump over 5 ' no climb her fawns have to grow up some to do so.

For the last few years, people who live in eastern Oregon and Washington have felt alienated from the liberal government that exists on the western sides of both states.
There has been talk of part of the states seceding and joining as part of Idaho. This is probably not likely to happen; but it would be pretty interesting if it did come about.
Idaho would suddenly become a huge conservative state, and have more representatives in Congress, as well as other parts of government.
The western parts of Oregon, which would then compromise the whole State of Oregon, on the other hand, would lose population and the amount of congressional representatives.

If eastern Washington were to split also, then the Seattle area would have the same thing happen as the Portland area of Oregon.
The liberal government of both states has been passing laws that are making life harder in both states, especially for farmers and ranchers.

Wouldn't that be nice and hope it happens. I think the reason Biden Imc. is spreading out so many illegals across the states is to monopolize them into liberal caverns.

I've yet to figure out what conversations/votes are required in the destination state before such an initiative can be put forth; that is, parts of Oregon cannot unilaterally declare themselves to now be part of Idaho without Idaho having some say-so in the process. So I can follow the legislative requirements for those who wish to leave, but what about the place they want to join?

The conservative areas of the states already tend to elect conservative House members. Their Senators are liberal however. If the areas shown joined Idaho, Idaho would become larger, but the control of Congress would essentially remain the same. If they split to form a new state, however, the number of Senators would increase and add two (or more) new conservative Senators, which could tip control of that house of Congress. That is why the Democrats want Washington, D. C. to become a state. In that case, it would add liberal members to both houses. From what I have read, D.D. was donated by Maryland and Virginia under the condition that it could never become a state, so I guess those two states could "repossess" D.C. if they want the crime and poverty.

I believe both state legislatures have to approve the move.

Bobby and I were discussing that yesterday, and that is the conclusion that we came to as well. I would assume that the Oregon people have already been talking with the Idaho people who would be involved, to be sure that if they voted to join Idaho, that Idaho was willing to accept them. It doesn’t make much sense to vote on the whole idea unless they know whether Idaho would allow them to join.
