I didn't go through nearly as much as you did, given that I had radiation therapy alone and not chemotherapy, but it took well over a year before my pulse rate and blood pressure were back to something near normal, which was very low for me. They kept telling me that there was nothing to worry about because a pulse rate in the 80s was well within the normal range, but my normal pulse rate was in the high 40s to low 50s, and my blood pressure was on the high end of the normal scale, whereas it was something like 90/50 before therapy. My blood pressure has never gone back to where it was before, and probably won't, but my pulse rate has worked its way back to the 50s, anyhow. That stuff should straighten itself out in time.
Ugh, I have radiation after the surgery heals; hope it doesn't exacerbate the problem. I'm glad yours returned to relative normalcy; it bugs me for my heart to beat so fast.
Beth, It's been a challenge, I have to be out of the apartment at the end of the month and my back is still as bad as ever.

Thanks, Lulu. I'm dreading it but that's been the story of my life for the past 8 months now. I wish I were brave but all I do is show up... no pink warrior here.
