If they would have examined the results then Trump would still be in office. 57 years of doing nothing of value for the U.S. versus 3 years of success.
The arms left in Afghanistan are certainly subject to being reverse-engineered by our enemies, most likely Iran and China and possibly Russia.
Dunno. I’m not trying to be a fatalist but it seems to me that since we get a lot of our electronics and other parts from other countries especially from China, reverse engineering isn’t even needed. Beyond putting a framistat when they might be using a thingy I think the other major powers already have most of our engineering in their data bases. On the other hand, operational codes might be a little bit of a problem but again, the Chinese and Russians have managed to hack into a lot of our supposedly secure operations so those too are probably an easy feat to beat if they haven’t already. The one thing that makes us a step up on most countries is our ability to train people, build and maintain whatever we need to have for war. Alas, even that too might be coming to an end the way a Dem Congress is constantly tightening the military budget.
Well, one thing for sure, there was a rather large crowd to cheer for Biden and Harris when he won the Presidency. Without a doubt, Trump was getting things done and he was tough. Biden sure doesn't seem to be that way. But, Trump buried himself, for the re-election, when he, right or wrong, bad-mouthed the media and took to the podium and encouraged the mess at the Capitol Building. Was the Presidential voting messed up, to where Trump wouldn't win, I have no idea, but many, many said it was 100% fair. But, America was told that none of military equipment left was usable, yet the Taliban was flying one of our Black Hawk helicopters. So, Chiefs of Staff, usable or not????
As has been often said, Trump needed/needs to learn the value of humility, civility and credibility. As for the usability of our military equipment, I wouldn't believe much of anything the "chiefs" had to say.
Trump was just being the typical New Yorker with an in your face style. His record of accomplishments speaks for itself.
His record of not getting elected while running against the worst candidate in history and having a lot of his "accomplished" undone speaks for itself. New York "in your face" behavior doesn't play well outside the east coast.
Deny them all western technology /medicine/armaments/oil/food/etc. and let them revert back to living and practicing Islam as it was in the middle ages.

It is said that the biggest blow is the loss of our night vision goggles, which the Chinese and Russians will now be able to back-engineer. They have them, but ours supposedly are far superior. No longer the case.
As it seems, General Milley had probably already sent some to his good friends in China. It's only fair, you know.
Isn't it amazing to have a traitor at the top of the U.S. military? He isn't in the chain of command technically, but his words indicate he would be for a political coup against any commander-in-chief he disagreed with. Trump certainly has been vindicated in his statements about the "Deep State" conspiring against him.
I said often that Trump only needed to stop sending tweets and to stop talking. He did what I sometimes do; keep talking until I find what I really need to say. the rest is mostly babble/small talk. But lots of politicians do a lot of talking without ever answering the question. BTW He said it was the crowd's right to demonstrate. He never said/meant to illegally break in.
