I just read that the lox we typically enjoy on bagels is thinly sliced smoked salmon (there are a few choices in the fish section of Walmart in 3oz and 4oz packages that are passable.) I'm surprised, since it's always referred to as "lox and bagels," even though lox is brined but not smoked afterwards. Now I can't recall if the stuff I had at the hotel was smoked or not. ps: Guess what I just added to my shopping list I have no Food Impulse Control.

When wife and I go out to eat, we usually get eggs, hash browns, bacon, ham, and sausage. At home, it is bacon or sometimes sausage and eggs. When we travel and stay someplace we usually look for a free breakfast that includes sausage gravy and biscuits.
Coffee with a side of coffee. Later, after i have had at least 4 more sides of coffee my favorite would be…..ribeye and eggs, with coffee.
Coffee, toast with ham and eggs, except the ham is not on the side but diced and mixed with the scrambled eggs.
Instead of sitting on that bale of hay, she should be sitting on a stool and milking a cow to top off that cereal.
No Bobby! She is a ranch girl, a real cowgirl, not a dairymaid. Do you need a fresh lecture from our resident western attire expert?
My wife was a “ranch girl” and even owned her own ranch and she milked goats and even had a llama. I’m not sure if she ever had a Resistol hat or Wrangler jeans but hey, sometimes it isn’t about going with the flow….
