Another way I could look at it is, wonder how it would be taken if a young, or older person, showed up at a Halloween party completely dressed (dress uniform) as a high ranking WWII German Officer? Swastika, toy Luger and all. It would be a Halloween costume, but to other party goers, "what the............................" I done some online research, and sure enough, WWII German Officer costume and one of them is called a Zombie and she is wearing a red armband with a Swastika on it. Oh yea, a real hit at a Halloween Party. I doubt.
If Fauci dressed as a Iron Cross toting German officer for Halloween it would be a nice change from the doctor costume he’s been wearing.
You should watch South Park sometime. I believe it's set in your area of the country. They did a great episode on that very subject.
@Al Amoling Because this shit gets chased around, then it comes around, over and over again, until it becomes sickening. This thread simply intends to state that you must turn away help if it in any way condones offensiveness. What utter crap! Frank
I don't know, I just don't know! Seeing this Iron Cross, seeing a tattoo of Satin on somebodies arm, skulls all over the place and other stuff that I definitely didn't see when I was in rodeo, because it was not allowed by the Rodeo Association I was in. And, still today, seeing how down-to-earth most rodeo contestants are/look, now that is truly inspiring.
May as well throw the swastika into the mix. https://americangimuseum.org/origin-of-the-swastika/ "Did you know the swastika was not always a symbol of Nazi-ism and hate? The swastika originated as an ancient religious icon within the cultures of Eurasia, symbolizing divinity and spirituality in Indian religions. The swastika is an icon widely found in modern and historic artifacts, including items from remains of the Indus Valley Civilization, Mesopotamia, and early Byzantine and Christian artwork. For western cultures, it was a symbol of good luck and auspiciousness until the 1930s. In the 1930s, it was adopted by the Nazi party as a symbol of the Aryan race identity, thus stigmatizing the symbol by its association with ideas of antisemitism and racism." I had always associated the swastika with the Nazis until I ran across mosaic floor tiles at the entrance to a clothing store in town which contained a swastika. It was a Jewish business.
Well, "not always" was yesteryears, definitely not today! I don't like any of it and neither does my wife or her sister. But, apparently today, the "old folks" are way outnumbered by many young folks that love this stuff.
I’m sure you’re aware that you have your own problems without worrying about what someone else “looks” like or wears. It’s easy to judge someone by what they wear or have around them but I doubt seriously if you can judge what that man or woman [whom you have already figuratively sent to hell] has in their heart. The best thing I can tell you is to quit trying to do God’s job. He’s very, very secure with His position and to my knowledge, he’s not taking any applications to replace Him. Your job is to love your neighbor and from my understanding, there’s nothing in the Book that gives any qualifications to merit that love.
What's wrong with satin? I wouldn't wear satin (or tattoo it on my arm) but it's alright on a bed. Are you telling us that Satan wears satin?
Well, for those that approve of it and those that don't, we are very judgmental. People who aren't that way can end up getting around very undesirable people and doing very undesirable things. Hard/illegal drugs, smoking, lot of alcohol drinking, undesirable language used and so on and so on. And, since you do talk Christianity, why on earth would anyone have a tattoo of Satan on their arm and then say, after being asked about it, "I love him"? I was judged being a part of rodeo, but simply put up with it. Now, that I'm no longer competing, wife and I both get judged for being major fans of it, but "oh well".
That's exactly how we saluted the Flag in our grammar school class before it was realized that Hitler planned to conquer Europe. Then we went to hands over hearts. Hal
