OK, now that's the face I remember. :D The hubby spends most of the weekend at his mother's; she is 87 and still lives alone on a few acres. He mows and takes care of any maintenance on Saturdays, then does her financial stuff/bill paying on Sundays. I luck out because he always picks up dinner on both days so I get "kitchen-free weekends." Hope you're having a nice weekend, too.

Hmmmm, "hoonds" does have a certain ring to it. :D (Better than "hacks.")

Sounds like weekends are very ”leisurely” for you ;) Our weekend was good. At our son and daughter in law Saturday afternoon. Drove the little ones round. They think my chair is much more fun than their mom’s manual one. Spent yesterday going through some of the old videos from hubby’s closet.

Yep hoonds does sound better than hacks - don’t want folks thinking I hack people to death with them  :D

Just two weeks to go!! How are your ROM exercises going? Glad you’re not feeling the effects too badly.

    Tons of hugs

Hey there. I'm still doing OK; no major redness yet. The ROM exercises are helping but it gets old having to do them twice a day. I told my doctor last week that I am beyond caring how I look these days; I just want to FEEL better. I have PT sessions scheduled for 6 weeks (once a week) so we'll see how that goes.

Glad you got to enjoy the family visit. Have a good week.

Tomorrow I will be "marked up" for the radiation boosts area. I have 4 more regular treatments, then 5 boosts. I believe the boosts will be to my chest wall and scar but I'll find out tomorrow. I also have a PT session in the morning.

I freaked myself out earlier when I undressed to shower. I had a large-ish bruised area on the underside of my right arm and I was thinking "oh for pete's sake NOW WHAT??" Then I got into the shower and noticed the "bruise" was transferring to my white washcloth. Appears that the blue marker they used today on my ribcage was transferring to my arm. Sheesh.

Are the five boosts the whole of the last week?

I had to laugh at your ”bruise” washing off. Good luck and drive safely today.

I thought I answered this; guess I have chemo brain. :D Yes, the five boosts are the last 5 days, which somehow equates to Tuesday-Friday next week and then the following Monday. I will be officially done on November 15.

I can't wait to get in the shower on 11/15 and start soaping those stupid marker lines and tapes off of my torso.

They use Sharpie markers with clear stickers over them, so I've got a maze of different colored marks all over me. Some radiation clinics actually do use tatoos, but they are very small "dots".

Hope you’re enjoying your weekend. Guess you’re dashing here there and everywhere as usual. Just one week left and you’ll be all done. Good for you. We have a busy week ahead with the grandkids coming to stay - wrote about it in my diary and my appointment with the eye specialist.

    Enjoy your Sunday.
