Our governor here in Alabama, Kay Ivey, has also been fighting against the vaccine mandate and is one of the governors who are filing a lawsuit.
What took her so long? Did she put her finger in the wind, feel the direction from Virgiinia and decide to jump in or is she really out leading the pack?
I'm not. Is she a leader or a politician? (Man, I wish Youngkin could get sworn in sooner so he could join this fight.)
I am familiar with her but don't spend a lot of time following what she actually does/accomplishes vs. what she says. The last ACU rating I saw was in the high 70% range, but that's been a while ago.
I'm just glad to see some good news coming across the US! People really stepping up to the plate! I'm also thrilled to see what looks to me like the US actually uniting against what is truly wrong in this country, to heck with party-lines, and other differences, we need "all" Americans to unite. Every person is different than the next, and has their own opinions, but it's just too horrible to see us lose our friendships, family-relationships, and even our country because of it. Nov. 2, 3rd news gave me new hope, even made me want to go on living! No I wasn't contemplating suicide, but I just was feeling I wanted to live to see our country and all it has stood for, go down the drain.
I was in the same boat. I drove over to see a friend on November 3 specifically because we had been commiserating over the intentional destruction of America so much this past year, so I had to rush over when there was a ray of sunshine to share.
It was kind of funny realizing how I seemed to have such a wonderful day over that small victory (which I guess turns out is pretty big actually), like yes, a definite ray of Sunshine! I especially loved hearing from Lieutenant Governor "elect" Winsome Sears! More politicians like her are so welcome by this American!!
Give the Democrats enough rope and they are in the process of hanging themselves. They probably are not accounting for the fact that some of those who voted for them last election are amongst those that don't want the vaccination.
I think the democrat party has changed drastically, and some, are jumping ship because of the changes. When I was growing up, I remember our family was democrat. I remember because how much we loved President Kennedy. But my family I can guarantee would never go with some of the "ideas/bills" coming out of the Left today ;(
