I’m hoping it might help my breathing. I don’t intend to diet. l’m going to try to eat less and fast. I’m now eating anything I want, including too many sweets, especially strawberry ice cream and donuts and cinnamon rolls, cookies. I have craved sweets and have been satisfying that craving. It’s a diabetes thing. It is effecting the feeling in my feet or rather no feeling. As my waist has expanded my pants has become too tight making my shortness of breath worse. So I need to lose a few pounds. I’m going to try. I’m going to try to cut out sweets. How hard I try I don’t know. Maybe with the light headedness I have been having, I won’t be able to do anything. I don’t know but we will see. I’m hoping I can.
Good luck Bill. I'm trying to gain weight. I've lost 16-18 pounds in the past 6 months or so without changing anything in my lifestyle. I feel fine, but I'm too thin. I could probably do it if I pigged out on sweets and other refined carbs but I have to stay away from them.
I'm right with you, Bill. I could stand to drop 20# myself. After dinner I had a fudgesicle and two huge bakery cookies. I am such a little piggy.
Bill, here's an idea....instead of writing down everything you eat, take a picture of everything and post them on your "Don't Fill Bill" thread!
everybody's got a vice....us?.... we smoke little filtered cigars... we smoke 'em if we got'em... if we ain't ....we don't
Thanks everyone for your tips and offers of help. This is not a diet. I am not going to count calories. Going to skip a few meals, eat less on some meals. Maybe eat more fruit. If that don’t work maybe I’ll merely float off like a hot air balloon.
I’ve lost a pound. Weighed 177.0 when started. Last night I weighed 175.8. No big deal but headed in the right direction.
You don’t have to count calories but find out how much there are in what you normally eat and find a substitute with less calories. You won't go hungry that way. Of course exercise burns calories and should help with breathing too.
