    EXTREMELY WELL SAID, @Faye Fox ! !
We all watched as the BLM and Antifa riots destroyed homes, businesses, and attacked innocent (and vulnerable) people all across America, many of these were paid rioters, and were bussed from place to place for the riots.
Local people everywhere HAD to stand outside of their business or home with a weapon in order to protect it from being burned down from the rioters, so it was a well known thing that this would happen anywhere the riots were planned.

In just about every instance of rioters damaging property, they were immediately released to do the same criminal acts over and over again; so Americans can no longer depend on our government to protect people from criminals , and sadly, they often protect the criminals instead.
This is not a trial about one teenage boy having to defend his life, it is a trial to set precedent about what is considered as self-defense for all of us.

Maybe we should call your birth reckless and take you to court for having a racist birth certificate.

Thank you Yvonne and yes, that is exactly what is on trial. The constitution is on trial by an inferior court. I have seen all the destruction in Portland firsthand and know one vet that was beaten and bear sprayed by these paid and promoted fascists.

I see recklessness, and you don't. Both views are opinion, and have no bearing on the trial or its outcome. The jury is, apparently, still out. Like it or not, their opinions are the only ones that matter at this point.

Unless you consider being there, in itself, to be reckless, I don't see that. Going to a riot with a gun is not something that I would do, particularly given that the Kenosha police and municipal government had already made it clear that they were going to side with the rioters. But if it was a foolish thing to do, it was also a noble thing to do in a sense, and I think that played into his thought process - that, and I'm pretty sure that the excitement of it entered into his teenage mind as well, but that can also be said for teenagers who volunteer to go to war. Did the problems occur because he had a gun, or should the gun be credited for the fact that he's still alive? I don't know, but the fact that the rioters had guns, and that many of them came from elsewhere as well, didn't seem to bother the Kenosha prosecutor at all.

From what I have heard, the gun charges have been thrown out, as, according to Wisconsin law, anyone over the age of 16 can carry a rifle which has a barrel over 16 inches, as there are a lot of hunters in that age bracket. It was also said that the gun did not cross state lines as that was a story just made up by the media. He lived in one state but worked in Kenosha, and that was why he felt he needed to help defend the businesses there. He also had many friends in that community. I am sure there are a lot of hunters that cross state lines with a rifle, and I don't understand why that is even an issue. People of all ages fly into Alaska to hunt big game and every one of them cross state lines to get here, and many even cross national borders.

Holy crap! I just saw video of the prosecutor taking an AR-15 to his shoulder and pointing it at the jury with his finger on the trigger! What a fool! The commentator said he relied on another person to clear the weapon because he didn't know how to do that and he referred to the rioters as heroes! If anyone deserves to be disbarred for this, it is certainly this man!!!!!

Thank goodness I nor someone like me was on that jury. I get crazy even if it’s a toy gun pointed at me. To paraphrase my old drill sergeant: “people like that need to be beaten about the head and shoulders with the weapon until they understand how to use the weapon”.

Exactly, @Bobby Cole! I was absolutely horrified when I saw it. I am guessing the ADA attended the Alec Baldwin School of Firearm Safety! I am the same way as you about guns, and my children were not allowed to have toy guns but they did have real weapons at their disposal and were taught how to safely use them. I had only a couple semiautos around and they only handled the .22.

Is this the video you're talking about? It's the only one I could find . . .

Nope, the video I saw showed it from the side and you could see the prosecutor's finger on the trigger ands he pointed the gun at the jury. I will see if I can find it again, but I am sure it is out there. Use a different search engine to avoid censorship.

Finger on the trigger or not, pointing a weapon at the jury should have him disbarred for life. The judge should have banged his gavel and charged him with assault and contempt of court. There is no limit to the extremes that a liberal fascist will go. Unbelievable!

Here is the video! Everyone, please watch this video.
