That was a vacuous pile of poop. Laws don't need to be "skinned," lazy people need to educate themselves.
And what the heck does a parent buying a "young child" a handgun have to do with any of it???

And charging the boy as an adult.
That should get some attention from kids and gangs thinking they can get away with anything without police. And the fact they can be shot in self defense.
ALL the idiocy because there were no consequences if under $900 damage.

I'm not at all comfortable with charging a 15 year old as an adult. He's guilty and troubled, but he is not an adult. Such a tragedy for all involved.

Yes, Sir, I just saw that and I understand the parents may be running and that the Marshall’s Service and the FBI may be looking for them.

It has to do with with this boy in Michigan killing four oeople and wounding several. Where did the boy get the gun?
His parents bought it for him, gave it to him, therefore the parents share responsibility for the wounded and dead.

Laws are skinned by continually attacking them as they have on Roe/Wade. Maybe gun laws can be skinned a little bit. That would be fun.

I thought it was law of the land. Anyway, like to find a way to ship away at gun laws and second amendment. That would be fun. That’s my point.

To take away the right to defend oneself would be fun?
How long would it take the police to come to your door after someone breaks into your home and smashes you in the face and head with a chair? (No electronic gizmos working at your place)
Then how about a few well placed kicks?

There are definitely a few people who misuse weapons (guns, knives, SUVs...) But there are actually MILLIONS of law abiding gun owners. If there were a designated gun at schools at all times, the shootings could be over in seconds instead of waiting for police. At other places as well.

I know, I know. It can’t be done all at once. But it’s a hot button issue. Fun to play with. You and your husbandcan have one gun each, shotgun, rifle, or hand gun. We’ll reduce hunting in this country, drastically. We’ll start with that.

Do you know how much damage is done by deer here in Wisconsin? Car accidents, food crops,...? Come on over and try to leave anyone with guns with one, that doesn't want to give them up and has broken no laws.
Now, if you would like to go after the hundreds/thousands of criminals and put them away forever after shooting children etc, I am good with that. Read the law and ENFORCE the law with appropriate punishment. Leave the rest alone!
Do you know what the word illegal in illegal aliens means? They have broken the laws of our country. Lets start with that.

The Second Amendment has nothing to do with hunting deer, or any other animal. It is about Americans being able to protect their lives when necessary.
It is to help us protect this country if we are attacked by enemies from within the country or from another country.
Actually , millions and millions of hunters are out with guns each fall, and they have never ever had any kind of mass shooting from all of these hunters.
Millions more legally licensed gun owners help to make up the largest army in the whole world, and other countries have to think about this before attacking the United States.

When I was in school, there was no such thing as a school shooting. In high school, boys drove the family pickup to school with the hunting rifles in the back window.
If the principal inspected it at all, it was just to comment on how fine the rifles were.
It was understood that many of the boys would be absent from school during hunting season. Most families had weapons of some sort, and children were taught from an early age not to ever touch any guns, and when they were old enough to shoot responsibly, they were than taught how to do that.

The problem is not that we have too many guns, it is that we have too many people using weapons who have no respect for human lives, or no knowledge of how to properly use a gun.

Bill, I would like to thank you for the opportunity for those with opposing views to give them here without animosity.
Fun or not, the liberals have been trying to chip away at the 2nd amendment. The powers that be want the UN to do it with a treaty forcing us.
I really like Yvonne's comments on this issue. It is not for foreign nor domestic powers to take this right away from us.
Think! MILLIONS of gun owners standing at the ready and not forcing others. While horrible law breakers are getting away with crimes, getting a slap on the wrist or light bail till whenever.
Why has Chicago been a sewer as far as gun violence and nothing done about that--hundreds of shootings daily (black on black). Why are we letting in cartels with drugs and GUNS, distributing them throughout the country with Biden's and Kamala's blessings? Not to mention all the infected illegals who don't need vaccines where we do. Why did they fight the finishing of the wall when we had a chance?
We don't need new laws! We need to enforce the laws we have!

Why not? Let’s admit we have misunderstood the second amendment and gotten it all wrong in the first place
and that we all are law abiding citizens and don’t need protection, therefore we don’t need guns. Foreign wars
won’t require require them. So, let’s start with taking guns away from the gangs in chicago, then we’ll look at who
    else weneed to jump on.

The "2nd Amendment" scare (among other hot button issues) is meant to distract and get people riled up enough to vote.

The real agenda is no regulations on big business, no penalty for moving jobs overseas, no penalty for low wages, no penalty for pollution, or corporate tax evasion. Short term profit matters. Very short sighted.

But there aren't enough voters who agree with that agenda to ever win elections.

Democracy is difficult to work with if those are your issues. This has been going on for years. It works.
