Hello! I have returned! I think that is official sounding. Thank you for writing in my diary. I think it is amazing. I find the comic pictures amusing to view. Thank you for the encouragement.

I could not post yesterday because I felt sick a little. That is gross. I do not think I had covid hardly and I am not sure though. I think I may also be exhausted due to working in my new Japanese garden. Well it is not hardly a garden now. Guess what when I told my husband to look at me and my grandsons Japan garden progress he told me it's not a garden it's a pile of dirt and rocks now. I find it crass. It is not finished though! I still have to buy plants and trees and a lovely stone bench. I think it is nice. I told my husband that I will buy 2 to 4 lovely small trees that can be trimmed in unique shapes. I can not recall what they are called hardly. I think it is nervous. Oh my gosh a motorcycle just drove past my house. You don't see that every day. My husband said will you be the one who goes and trims the trees into shapes? I think it is possible.

Last night I watched TV on YouTube. You know sometimes I get strange recommendations when I go within YouTube. I think it is questionable. Yesterday when I loaded YouTube there was a video called white guy wednesday Halloween party or something like that. I was not quite sure you know? I do not watch that show hardly. It said it was three hours long. I think it is too much. Well unless it meant it was three minutes and was also counting seconds and milliseconds. I am not sure if it is likely. I am not the best understanding of how YouTube videos portray times though. I find it understandable. I was also nervous that the video may not be family friendly hardly. That would be weird right?

I do not know what else to write due to my day being hugely boring. I think it is stupid. Well it is 11:25 AM though. My husband is playing golf. I am setting on the couch.

Soon I will pay a visit to Dunkin Donuts. I may then drive to Jenny Sod however the people that work there are lousy. They are attitudinal you know? Well the dude who put the rocks in my trunk was hugely pleasant however the three women at the front desk were idiots. Oh my gosh that may have been offensive. I apologize. Well anyway they were talking on the phone to a customer and then they made fun of him. I find it unprofessional. I do not care what they say about me hardly because they are creepy. I think that is positive.

Me and my husband called my grandson on the phone last night. That is pleasant. The conversation was a little questionable though. I think it is weird. My husband and my grandson were talking about him climbing a mountain 4 to 6 to 6 years ago. Oh my gosh I wrote the number 6 pretty much. I meant to say 4 to 6 rather though. I think it is mistakable. Well my husband then said he wrote a poem about it. I said I did not remember. My grandson said do you still have a copy. He said because I lost the one you gave me several years ago. He chuckled. My husband said some of the lines. He said remember to me. I did not. I find that obvious. My grandson then said the name of the mountain. I can not recall the name though. I thought it was in Asheville though. I find it insightful. My husband said did you just say assville? You know that's the difference between me and my husband. I say a normal thing and he makes it weird. I think it is lovely though. My husband said ok I will stopntalking now. He did the ziplock motion with his lips. He pretended to throw a key away. That was silly. I then asked my grandson has he been feeling sick recent? My grandson said he has been a little congested. I said yeah I had to blow my nose more times then usual recently too. My husband said wow this is an exciting conversation. My grandson found his remark hilarious and I was just saying it though. My grandson said what happened to you not talking to my husband. He was kidding though. My husband told my grandson to hold the phone lower. Well I think he said laptop but my grandson was actually talking on a phone. Anyway he said I am trying to check if you look congested to my grandson. I said bill that's disgusting. I said I may hang up the phone of my husband keeps being disgusting. The situation was a little hilarious though. My grandson said hang on up grandpa not me. He was laughing. I think the situation is hysterical. My husband then formed lame puns. I think it is better than weird stuff though. I find that optimistic. My husband said what do you call a stair in a field. He then revealed that it is a staircrow. I think the puns are too lame. My grandson said I would say that's stupid but I can't think of anything better right now. I think it is challenging. I can never think of puns hardly. It is fine.

Earlier today I viewed my neighbors cross the street. You know they like to walk a lot but they often walk in the middle of the road. I am nervous because many cars go speeding down the neighborhood. They also do not have lightning quick reflexes due to being elderly. I think that is relatable.

@Mary Alveron When you say "I have returned", you are quoting a famous US General! You are generally funny!

A ladder in the middle of the field makes a good "Staircrow"! HA,HA...very funny! Here is a video on Japanese scarecrows:

@Mary Alveron I hope you are feeling better, not "under the weather". I am curious about your "Butterfly Garden" how do you grow butterflies? The cabbage butterfly is not a welcome guest in the cabbage patch! It is lousy!

Thank you for your comment! I think it is positive. I find your butterfly garden pun amusing. I will tell my husband the joke. He is big on jokes. I think it is good to explain. Oh I just told him the joke and he said huh? And he is not a big comprehension though.

Oh my gosh I visited my grandsons dormitory at his college last month and I viewed something repulsive. It was not my grandsons though. I find it relieving to explain. It was my grandsons roommates disgusting room. I found it gross to imagine. The room featured papers all over the ground and a music stand and old foodstuffs on the floor and Publix bags full of trash. I said oh my gosh Brian! To my grandson. He said what is it? I showed him. He was shocked. He did not know the news that his roommate trashed his bedroom. Well they all get there own little bedroom they do not share it. I find it helpful to explain. My grandson said and here come the roaches. You know I forget that roaches can crawl under doors and stuff. I find it creepy. I read a article that cockroaches can contort their body to fit through small cracks too. I do not approve hardly. It is disgusting. Cockroaches are gross. My grandson is not big on his roommate though.

Last night I watched American Ninja Warrior. Was it good? I think it was entertaining. I viewed 5 to 20 runners compete. I am not sure on the exact number. I am rather comfortable with the range though. I find it confident. You know earlier today something strange happened. I walked into Dunkin Donuts. I was safe though. I think it is ingenious. Well I was wearing the same color blouse as the employee at the counter. I found it hysterical awkward. The lady at the counter may have been confused why I burst into hysterics after entering her lovely store. I find it coincidental though. My washing machine is broke.

I can not believe it is Christmas hardly. Time is going fast! You know I think time goes faster when you are an older person. My friend Sue agrees with me. My husband would agree with me probably. Well he does not do as much as me though. I find it honest. I do environment meet. My husband instead plays golf and tennis sometimes. I think it is silly. While I attend a novel and educational club my husband plays sports where he can be found hitting a huge ball with a stick. I find it complementary. We are different though.

Earlier today I drove past Wendys and the Taco place. Well Wendys had a sign that said we are hiring! An explanation point featured. I find it exciting sounding. I would not be hugely excited to work there though. Well I am retired. I told my grandson he would not want to work at fast food. He would not do good there probably. My grandson said he just wants job to feel like he is doing something. It would be a annoying job though probably. I find it crappy.

Oh my gosh something crass just happened! My son's wifes mom just texted that she is setting at Macaroni Grill next to the red wine rack. She texted it to her son because they were meeting for lunch. I think it is pleasant. My husband then said I am also sitting next to some alcohol. I was confused. I thought he meant he was at the restaurant at first. I then realized he was forming a pun about drinking. I find him silly. His jokes are too silly huh? My husband has not drank in five years though. Oh my gosh no one in the message thread is responding to my husbands dumb text message. I find it embarrassing.

I "assume" Mary is from somewhere in the southern US, since she references Publix supermarkets.

That is what is seems like, but she said that she is just “practicing the English language”, which seemed like she might actually live in another country. We seldom get much input from people who live in non-English speaking countries, so i have been waiting for @Mary Alveron to tell us more about where she lives, and not just what she does all day long.

I showed my husband the messages! I think it is exciting. He read the huge message above me and said amen to that. I said what do you mean? He said I agree with the part about not posting about what you do all day long. I think it is rude. The original comment was lovely though. Well he also said do not post our address. I think that is obvious. I said Bill do you think I am stupid? I find such a comment confrontational and hilarious.

Anyway I am not from another country. I think it is explanatory. I am from the lovely state of Southern Florida. That is beautiful. I am learning English though. Despite the fact that I do not initiate from a separate province I am still not the biggest lesson on the English language and I am trying to learn it though. I find my goal unique.

You know I read an interesting article yesterday. The headliner read that the phrase no problem may be offensive. I found the title interesting though. I clicked it. It said that the phrase no problem may imply that something is an issue. I think that is curious and I am not sure whether it is offensive or not though. Well I am not the biggest understanding of the English language. Today I went around my house and coounted that 4 to 6 light bulbs were broke. Well I told my husband the article. He said it sounds like a load of crap to me. I think it is honest. I said well thank you for your comment. He said no problem. He said it funny to emphasize that he said no problem. He makes jokes. I do not. I think jokes can be a little confusing too you know? I am not sure.

Last night I ordered a new box filled with 500 facemasks. I have several lovely looking facemasks stored in my purse however I may need backup though. I Also may provide them to my grandkids and crap. Is it safe? Well you know I used to be a huge antimask alert before the pandemic. I think it is crazy. Well I found it creepy when people covered their face. I think it is understandable. I am now a huge sale on facemasks though. I think it is nice. My family are not big on facemasks hardly. My husband is though. We are a huge differing opinion than our other family members however they are still nice though.

I just thought of a story from several years ago. I think it is random. Well I was at my friends house and her family was playing a game. I think it is pleasant and I hate games though. My husband is big on sports games but he is not good at board games hardly. He is more of a tennis ball though. I still played the game. I find it polite. Well my friends husband played too. Her family was excited due to him joining the game. I was confused. I said what is so exciting? They explained that he never plays games hardly. I said me neither. I find it comparable. Well anyway they handed out cards to every player. I think it was 5 to 10 cards and I am not a huge ruler with numerous numbers on it. I am not great with math. I think it is fine. I hope my sentences make sense. They may be a little confusing though. I think it is wishful. Well when my friends husband got his cards he said did I win? His whole family found it hysterical. I found it hilarious and I covered my mouth. I think it is polite. He said well this is why I do not participate in games. I find the situation hilarious though.

Oh my gosh it is almost 2 am. It is late! I will now go to bed. I think my friend will call me tomorrow.

Hello Mary and thank you for responding. It used to be that when someone said "Thank you", the proper response would be "You're welcome". Today's younger generation use the term "No problem" in response to a "Thank you", and is not considered to be offensive.

Also, here in Pennsylvania, I have noticed that they often use the term "You guys" a lot, when addressing a man and woman together. These seem to be verbal short-cuts that they have latched onto. we find them being used by clerks, phone callers and waitresses, mainly. It seems to be a generational thing.

The English language can, at times, become a living, breathing thing that changes and adapts, with each new generation. I applaud you for your determination and courage to approach, triumph over and learn our language, and make it your own. Keep on, keeping on!

I have struggled, somewhat myself, in my attempt to find the right words to post.o_O;)

Thank you for your comment! I think it is more understandable. I also appreciate the encouragement. I am highly impressed.

My husband just went to sleep. I think it is crappy because it is 2:14 AM. That is too late. Oh my gosh I am also awake! I just thought of that. That is embarrassing huh? Well my husband has to get up earlier than me tomorrow morning. I think it is still valid. Well earlier this evening we called my grandson in college. That is cool. My husband made jokes. I think that goes without saying. It is hilarious. Well anyway at one point we were talking about the meal options at my grandsons dining hall. He is not huge on his dining options. That is crappy. My grandson said well they have pizza and chicken strips and drinks. I can not recall all of the items he said however those were some of them. It is a summary! I think it is quicker. Well then my husband said chickens can strip? He said where are their strip clubs. I said Bill his roommates probably hear this and think we are creepy. My husband said yeah I'm sure they've never heard a crass joke before. My grandson found the argument hilarious. I smiled. I then said that I realized why he said that because my grandson said chicken strips. My husband said wow that took you awhile. He and my grandson tried to do a virtual high five. I said you know I'm being a good sport guys. My husband said really because you are not that good at sports. I find the puns too silly. I smiled. You know my husband makes stupid jokes however he is a great person. He says silly comments however he is a respectful person too though.

Tomorrow I will drive to Jenny Sod and buy my fair share of crushed granite and pee rock. I may also buy Mexican Beach pebbles or whatever the hell they are called. I think it is nice for the garden. I will build the garden this weekend hopefully. I also may make a right turn to Dunkin Donuts and forget to do the garden project othough. I find it hilarious.

You know my granddaughter went to a party the other week. She posted a picture on Instagram about it. I think that is lovely. I wrote my first Instagram post under her picture. That is cool right? I said Looks like fun! I also said Was there loud music? I said this because the music played at one of my sons weddings was hugely too loud. That was annoying. Several of my granddaughters friends liked my commented. That is nice. I am a huge post though.

They are going to tear up the Publix store across from the Falls and build a huge Publix instead. I am not sure whether I am happy or sad about that. I think it will be nice however it may take several years to complete.

I have read other posts on your page today.

Hello Mary. I think your husband Bill's play-on-words about chicken strips is very funny! I also like the idea of making a virtual High-Five! I have never heard of that before. How do you plan to use pea gravel in your garden? You're behavior towards late hours and loud music is not unusual among Senior Citizens. Time spent with our grandchildren, however, is always a good investment! Keep it up, and laugh together! I enjoy reading your posts.
