And I’ve never seen snow, actually we have quite humid weather today ( unusual for SA ) as the result of the tail end of a cyclone that was close to Western Aust. Where my youngest son lives in SA 800 km from me its sorta dry there but they had about 5 inches of rain in an hour ..not the usual .. the rain missed us at home
It was cold today but it is warming up for the next few days.. We need snow very very badly and lots of it.. It has been a low snow winter so far which is no good for our village.. The environment also needs snow as moisture to prevent forest fires.. The lakes and rivers need snow to keep up the water level.. Snow will open up more trails for snowmobiles which brings $$$ to our village.. At present most of the trails are closed due to lack of snow..

We’ve had very humid weather as a result we have had over 2 inches of rain in one day .,just about unheard of to have that much rain in SA in one day it’s much welcome tho it will be green in the paddocks around our way and stop the dust we have been putting up with the to amount of wind we’ve been getting , just a puff of wind stirs the dust up cause it’s so dry
Louise.... Lots of snow brings in lots of $$$ to our village.. The snowmobile trails are active then with lots of people spending money here.. We need snow !!! We have every week-end an ice fishing tournament which is also good for us.. Winter brings in a good hunk of our tourists..

I am hoping we receive some rain this week. It is 88.7F here and that is too hot for this old duck. A/C is doing it's thing and keeping me happy. I would say Kate you are hotter than us at the moment.
Seems like almost every night I end up on here for a short while.. It is now 6:00am and I just went to the bathroom and had trouble falling back asleep, so I am on here for a while again.. Oh well, at least I will go back to bed shortly and end up with a decent night's sleep.. I will end up with 9 hours of sleep which is OK.........
We ended up getting 85 mills of rain in 2 days @Joybelle Rowe and it’s been very humid ..watch out you may be next in line for the downpours , glad we are home to check stuff is OK The rainwater run off right across the road from us, we count ourselves lucky if we get a foot or so of water in those ponds / water runoff
