Yes, the Covid related mandates are disappearing from the U.S. also but we are reminded by the present occupier of the Oval Office that in case of a nuclear outbreak we have to practice social distancing and don our masks so save those masks folks, we wouldn’t want to get sick from radiation.
I just received an email that the church I was going to has dropped their mask mandates (or more specifically, the Virginia District of The United Methodist Church has dropped the mandates.) For the longest time masks were optional if you had been injected, then OMGicron swept through the area and masks were required (regardless of injection status) for a few weeks. I don't have access to the COVID data as I used to, so don't know what the local/regional infection numbers are.

Until after the midterm elections, anyhow. Meanwhile, we have the threat of nuclear war, which requires the same response: social distancing and a mask. Oh, and calling 9-1-1, just in case no one had noticed the nuclear blast.
