I wonder if folks who have suffered with uncured (or marginally controlled) maladies might not be more of a target than the rest of us. And the frequency of the maladies (and of the commercials) is probably tracking with the world's age demographics. This subject always reminds me of the many magazine articles I read when I was a kid claiming that we'll have a magic pill that will "cure everything," or we'll get to the point where we'll stop consuming food stuffs and get all of our nutritional needs in a daily capsule ala George Jetson. So to some degree, our generation has been conditioned to expect these magic cures, and now they're cashing in it. I also wonder about "today's kids" who are seeing a quantity of "E.D." commercials, where all we were subject to were Geritol and Poligrip ads.
I can say that the Stage 4 breast cancer patients on the BC forum are not amused by the "metastatic breast cancer" treatment commercials. The happy, "living my best life" crap really grates when reality is often that you're bald, very sick, and struggling with end-of-life issues.
Yes, to keep making gigantic bundles , billions, of money, of course, like a gigantic monopoly that it is. The once readily available helps to prevent canc, diab, arth, anx, hbp, and so on are forbidden by druglords, and the hurtful things are promoted, so much so that ALL the places some people look ALL have the exact same failing protocols with almost no deviation. The healing doctors are difficult to find, and people don't bother looking for them it seems. BUT, if someone looks, they CAN FIND THEM.
I read the fine print on one of the cancer drug advertisements. It said that patients who were treated with __________ lived an average of three months longer than those without treatment. I accept that three extra months could be very important to a young mother or father trying to settle their affairs and prepare their families, but to an 85-year-old? Three extra months of side effects and then you still die? No thank you.
If a flock of foxes offered to 'help' and said that if you let them 'guard' your eggs and chickens then your eggs and chickens would last three months longer ....... yep? Sound like a good deal to anyone ? People who get healed without drugs often go for decades longer, not just three months, and at lower cost - extravagantly lower costs, and with no bad nor negative side effects to boot.
If Ibuprofen is on TV, yes I take 1 every 6 hrs but other wise NO on all pharma drugs....I give my money to supplements to keep me going, and have been for 30+ yrs. A phaarma drug put me in the ER an that did it and that was back in the 80's....
I often think the same thing. But until I'm faced with the choice, I have no idea how strong my survival instinct is gonna be.
25 yrs ago I attended a lecture on Pycnogenol aka Grape Seed Extract and we were told "May Prevent Cancers"...so I jumped on the Pycnogenol and on one or the other for going on 26 yrs....I could write a book on my thoughts on this Wonder Grape Product.....The Grape SEED....
Sheer Wonder - your life is an open letter /book/ to those who want to learn what is good and true and right... writing a book might work out too - although there are over a thousand, or maybe over ten thousand, already written that people might still be able to find and get the truth to escape the lies they were raised with since birth in the usa.
