(There was still time for me to get this in the right thread. Sorry about that. ) This interview is interesting (I think). Only 10 minutes. I'm trying to understand how things work in Russia and how someone like Putin holds on to power there for so long. Khodorkovsky claims: "Putin holds on to power by taking parts of the people around him and setting them against each other." When he mentions that Putin thought the people of Ukraine would greet him with flowers, I interpret that to mean they would be afraid not to publicly show him respect. I do believe, because they didn't do so, might make Putin angry enough bomb the hell out of Ukraine. You even see these things play out on a small scale in real life. Like when your over-controlling relative loses their cool, because you refuse to do what they want you to do. Unfortunately Khodorkovsky says one thing good about Biden. But try to listen to the rest of it, and not write off the whole video just because of that. He does preface it by saying he has done a lot of criticizing of Biden. What do you think?
There is one person to thank for this war, it is joe biden and him alone. A tyrant took advantage of the events played out since that half wit was sworn in. He saw he completely opened our borders to allow every enemy world wide to simply walk in and our elected officials are so weak and spineless we will probably have to fight a war right here on our own turf thanks to that b-stard. There is no mystery or questions as to how ruthless a communist really is. Putin is simply taking advantage of the moment and no more. Hopefully he will be assassinated and do the world a favor buying us some more time. If the American public cannot elect better qualified Presidents than this half wit and half wit vp we are in for some really bad days ahead.

That is the Russian side of things and appears to a bit more honest than the stuff we are getting from the MSM here. I am no military expert, but I know what makes sense to me, and indiscriminate killing of civilians serves no purpose for the Russians other than to incite the populace and the West. The report last night from Western media claimed "bodies of dead civilians everywhere..." but when you read further, there were 39 dead. I am sure that if the Russkies wanted to kill civilians, the count would have been hundreds or thousands not 10s. The Nazis killed thousands of civilians on their lunch hour. I have maintained that Russia really only wants the eastern provinces. They have attacked in the north and west because that is where we are shipping arms through and where much of the Ukrainian command and control centers are located. Just my opinion....
So much going on don't believe much of what they tell us. I know one of the therories is we put that little piano playing freak in there,but who knows. He is a good example of what Russia doesn 't want their nation to be influenced by aka Westernized'. Not to speak of being surrounded by NATO. But I only know a little history to come to my own half ass conclusions.
