I like potted meat with Nabs or with Ritz Crackers and peanut butter. It goes mighty good with an ice cold diet Pepsi when doing a hard day's fishing. I just try not to look at the ingredients. I'm sure they are much like the ingredients in dog food.
As a child, I just had to see why our cat went crazy over "Tender Vittles," so I tried some. Tasted like fat that was left out too long. I also tried some Friskies Cat Kibble. It tasted like pieces of wood.
So…..not to upset too many people but if I only had dog or cat food in the cupboard, the dog AND the cat that the food is for would probably come up missing and the freezer would suddenly have food in it again.
I knew a guy that got snowed in for two months in his mountain cabin and ran out of food but had two big bags of Alpo and he and the pup did quite well on spring water and Alpo.
Never had cat food before unless you consider tuna. Remember I'm a curious person and dry dog food taste nasty.
I have dipped my finger in my cat's food to see if it is quality tasting and it was. More 'Cesars' wet food for Ruby is on the way
