I am glad war is terrible for those who fight very lucrative for those who send them sometimes. I don't feel good about any of the Ukranians or Russians dying in this war..

Along with the fast-growing social media sites changed our political environment all around the world. It also brought up a new group of outlier viewpoints in contemporary society associated with journalists publishing in non-mainstream and social media sites that we refer it to the “Fifth Estate”
In a somewhat ironic and hilarious note to this war, Russia's oil exports are now at record levels in spite of/because of the embargo by the West. The Biden policies put into place at the beginning of his administration has poisoned the entire energy structure. Iran and Russia are now making money hand-over-fist as our economy shrinks at a record pace for modern times. China and India are getting energy at a discount while they fight to pass the U.S. in economic strength. China has put their new aircraft carrier to sea with a task force to intimidate Taiwan and the U.S. with the largest navy in the planet. The Chinese are preparing to fight on one front with the largest navy, while we are planning to fight a three-front war with significantly smaller naval forces. Not looking good....
I don't think that was unplanned. The Biden Administration is all about bringing about a decline in the status of the United States and in the American standard of living, for all but the elite, while empowering those who we might otherwise consider our enemies, or at least our competition.
I agree, @Ken Anderson. There seems to be an agenda behind it all. I understand that only the U.S. has a formula shortage. I don't know what the purpose could be behind it, other than encouraging women to breast feed and , perhaps not to work full-time outside the home when they have babies. I cannot figure it out, but it appears that this is not the last of the shortages to come.
its a new society now Don. I breast fed all 3 of my kids as did many others in the late 60s early 70s. Now women have to work to survive it seems. No getting up in tyhe middle of the night making bottlers for me. Plus when I did bottle feed it was Carnation and Karo syrup plus soft food or baby food.
Russia has now claimed to have killed 7 American troops and captured an American admiral in combat in Ukraine. I don't know the location of the alleged capture. They also claimed to have captured an Brit lt. colonel. If they truly captured someone at the level of admiral, they are in control of some decision-making area of the Ukraine military, as admirals don't normally get to the front lines of ground combat.
It appears that Mariupol has now been taken by the Russians. My information has been that the troops there have wanted to surrender for some time but have been prevented from doing so by orders from Kyiv in very Hitler-esque fashion. Also in very Hitlerlike announcements, the troops have now been "evacuated" to areas under Russian control. The Russian army with Chechen troops have captured the last bastion of resistance. Russia has now completed a major goal in its war and achieved a land bridge to Crimea. Odessa is still in Ukrainian hands and is the last major Ukrainian port on the Black Sea. If Russia captures that, Ukraine will become a land-locked country. Russian troops in Syria have also reportedly shot down Israeli planes over Syria. A world very much under control with a Trump administration is very much out of control and getting worse under a Biden leadership. There are also reports that European leaders have capitulated to Russian demands that energy will be purchased in rubles and the EU appear to be opening accounts in Russian banks in order to purchase oil and gas in a currency they have already sanctioned, adding support to an already strengthening ruble. It seems Russia is winning this war with the West.

This whole thing is going to go into overtime. Finland now wants to join NATO so Putin decided to shut off their supply of natural gas. I do fear that Ukraine is only the tip of the iceberg.
