All my life I had my mind/body in Dem world and it took Covid to wake me up...I ignored the Trumps all my
life, knew about the family but ignored.

Just hearing Don Jr on Dan Bongino's radio program and WOW, the fire in his belly and
is he right on as to what is going on in our government. He's got my vote.

And as Steve Forbes just said: things will get better end of 22 and 2024...

We'll see. Enough damage has been done to the country already that it may take a miracle--or a revolution--to get back on track. Even most Democrats believe the country is going the wrong direction, but, like a locomotive or an aircraft carrier, it is difficult to going going in the right direction after then steering has broken.

Personally, I wish the Trumps would fade away, along with Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Schumer, Pence, the Clintons, the Obamas, McConnell, "the squad", and an entire laundry list of annoying, do-nothing politicians on the state and national levels. We need a clean sweep and a clean slate to recover from the mess all of them have made.

Trump cannot be grouped with the others listed, who are all career politicians who have fed from the "sow" for most of their lives and enriched themselves doing so. I think it was @Bobby Cole who said in a post that Trump is probably the only president in recent history who left office poorer than when he entered the office. I guess the "squad" have not been career politicians, but they have certainly enriched themselves "serving the country". Trump was a real estate developer.

I know Trump's background. Regardless, I never could stand him and I'm hoping neither he or his annoying son will run again. Just my opinion.

Not sure at this point. I usually agree with DeSantis as well as the Texas governor, Abbott. I'm waiting to see what will happen with Rep. Dan Crenshaw's political aspirations in the future. The only actor I've seen hinted at for president is Matthew McConaughey but I doubt he's interested in the presidency.

I certainly didn't like Trump and did not vote for him and with a lot of apprehension pulled the button for Biden, boy was that a mistake. All I hear is that we had the best 4 yrs when trump was President. And when he was gotten rid of Biden's wrecking crew started immediately to tear down all that Trump accomplished.....You don't see with Beth.

I'm a right-leaning independent, so I am usually choosing the "lesser of 2 evils" when I vote. I didn't vote for Trump in 2016 but I did vote for him in '20... because I knew Biden was a dimwit and he has proved it every single day. We are in such a mess now I don't know if any elected officials can get us out of it.

Then there is Arnold who did a good job for CA when he was governor...Leo Terrell who is a CA civil rights attorney, has a 1 hr conservative radio program every day and is on Fox a lot as he says he is, I don't see him as I got rid of TV, and Leo left the D party after a long time, and now a pretty strong Trump republican as he calls himself, says the U.S. needs a popular actor type to get in the fight....and I just thought of Arnold. I'll have to jiggle Leo's mind with Arnold. Clint Eastwood is a very well known and R but Old... j

In the end, I am afraid that DeSantis would be a Reagan-type Republican, with good rhetoric but the same old thing. I don't know anything about Trump Junior but I don't sense that he would have the pull to get elected or the experience to do a good job if he were. Crenshaw is a McCain-type Republican; as a neoconservative, he will say the right things on some issues but he's headed in the same direction as the Democrats, only by a different route. Although I generally agree with him, I haven't trusted Rand Paul since he endorsed Mitt Romney over his own father in 2012, and Ted Cruz's wife literally had a hand in writing Agenda 21. Other than Donald Trump, I can't think of anyone who'd be worth voting for in 2024, and I am pretty darned sure that our votes don't matter anymore, anyhow. I think Trump is the only president in my lifetime who even tried to do the right thing. With that being the case, I don't care if he annoys me sometimes.

No strong opinions on anyone you mentioned except Crenshaw. He is very much a John McCain wannabe. McCain rode his maybe-fraudulent Vietnam record and Crenshaw uses his eye patch for the same thing.

We need all new folks in DC. We probably will get the same old garbage in '24, unfortunately, whether it's of the Republican or Democrat type.

I wish a viable third party would form that could put candidates up who would actually know what they're doing, and help get our country back in great shape, both at home and on the world stage.
