Governments have been trying to set up for the new world order. Offering FREE flu vaccines at Walgreens every year. Not enough progress? Then Forcing mandates with threats and lock downs and loss of employment to understand production of compliance.
Canadian truckers demonstrated peacefully against the mandates. Some Pets left in trucks to keep them warm were removed and possibly euthanized, for petes sake when their owners stepped away. Those who tried to contribute to the cause had their go fund me money confiscated. It got sent back eventually but I am not sure that was the original plan and personal info was not deleted, I bet. The funds didn't make it to the brave truckers, trying to use free speech, whose livelihoods were destroyed.
We tried our own demonstration with not much proceeding from it.
Now the Netherlands' government has shut down more than half the farms to curb nitrogen production. The people there are standing with the farmers who are blocking roads to Germany.
Hearing a lot about this are we?
If Nitrogen is a green house gas to be concerned about, we are in trouble as it has always been about 80% of the air around us. If the news meant CO2, that is turned into oxygen by plants that need it.
    Australian citizens tried protesting mandates.
Some Chinese were quarantined to the point of starving.
What has come of all the protestations so far? Distractions.
Fully vaccinated people are still getting covid. Many unvaccinated people are not....
And here, ignorance of the laws is no excuse. Anything can be tucked into 100 thousand+ page bills to be used against citizens.

I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer to understand all this Global stuff, but I do sense something bigger than we can even imagine is coming. The powers to be we'll use hardship as a way to get there Deeds Done. As Dickens said maybe they want to " reduce the surface population of the Earth".

I got word that you should be prepared for a non-bank situation. There are rumors that Bank of America is bankrupt, but it is being kept off the media to prevent a nationwide run on banks. Some rich guy in China was locked out of accounts he had in three different banks due the all those banks being investigated for fraud at the same time. The advisor said to make sure you have enough cash on hand to survive at least for a few days and diversify your accounts into different unconnected institutions. Canada showed how easily they could do it to protestors or people who didn't follow the line. Perhaps it will come to the point of having your accounts frozen if you cannot show proof of vaccination.

After WW2, the allies wanted to make sure that there would be no more world wars, and realized that the main cause was instability due to lack of needs. To resolve that, they promoted a global Marshal plan called "the Green Revolution," which was mechanized agriculture with extensive technological advancement plus mass manufacturing. The result was an impressive amount of food, goods, and services output worldwide such that infant mortality rates plummeted and life expectancy rose on a global scale.

However, this required extensive amounts of oil and minerals. At the same time, better living conditions also led to a population boom: the world population tripled in size. Businesses grew, earning a lot from more economic activity as well as having more workers and customers. As more people needed and wanted more, then economic activity became globalized, where even the things needed to access this forum require multiple companies in many countries providing multiple goods and services using extensive transport and shipping systems spanning tens of thousands of miles.

It turned out that that oil and minerals, like many other things on earth, are limited, and no amount of technological breakthroughs could counter that limitation in the long term. At the same time, increased economic activity led to higher levels of pollution which affected the same population, and in ways that they didn't anticipate. And some of that pollution is creating a forcing factor even on climate. In addition, more economic activity and human movement also led to more ways to spread disease, and more infections also meant more mutations. And as more with armaments got edgier, they began to use war as a means to get what they need or want. Meanwhile, all of those goods and services plus more economic activity led to lower birth rates, and with that population aging, which made things worse for businesses that need more workers and customers. On top of that are businesses that want to earn money by betting on all sorts of things (financial speculation), which led to frequent crashes and disrupted economies.

Finally, most are not aware of this, or want to ignore them, because sports and showbiz entertainers plus businessmen and politicians kept telling them on radio, TV, and now the 'net that everything will be fine, that our boys and girls are on it, that like the Industrial Revolution of the past, we will have another one where robots will make everything for us and even get stuff we need from outside the planet, and for anything we can't explain, it's either natural or just a hoax.

And they won't need us because the robots will be able to do everything.
    Yay! The end.

I have been trying to find a person the help me clean my house. Not the middle of the rooms but the HOUSE. No luck. I have been slacking off and have atrophied a bit. This morning, I put my glasses on, turned on the lights and went at my kitchen with a small brush. I steam cleaned the floor, wiped down the cabinets and appliances. Disgusting what you can see with your good glasses. But I found that I need to go downstairs to work out more. I have atrophied. I nearly fell over yesterday while pulling thistles.
Young and old we are atrophying. Sitting back. Angry at those who succeed when we don't even get off our butts or our phones. We watch the news of bad things happening and complain just like we are watching a football game from the sidelines.
If a person can start a company and employ hundreds of people, good. If people can clean houses and just support their family, good. If we build (rebuild) muscles and use them and not wait for robots or the governments to do for us...
wow Wonder what I ate yesterday.o_O

WOW!!! You had a very positive day.
I limit myself to how much news I will watch I don't want to get angry or depressed. I've suffered with depression for many years it put me in a dark place, so now I surround myself with things that make me happy. Anger or depression doesn't hurt the cause of it, it only hurt you and your family.
    Stay positive and happy.

The trouble is that if banks fail cash is worthless. Even gold and silver will have a lesser value. The things that will be worth the most are food, water, medicine, and basic survival materials.

I have been staying off the internet more and playing more guitar and also did some bathroom cleaning. I don't know if Canada was the canary in the gold mine or the buzzard-eating rotting roadkill. All I know is Canada and the USA are the laughing stock of the world, especially the Communist Chinese.

I have been intending to build/dig and outhouse for years now, not for prepping purposes but so my wife won't have to come in from the gardens and greenhouses. I haven't gotten it done. We have a septic and a lake, so I can fetch water and still flush toilets, even with no electricity, but it is very inconvenient in the winter to do so.

When our electricity went down for a while, we found that is not a bad idea.
Drinking water is a concern so sewage from ourselves and others is to be considered.
I still want to hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
